About the trip

Half day inshore trips are great for the entire family and all skill levels. Inshore trips are Primarily for kids or first time fisherman. For big fish we offer 12 hour Offshore trips. The first mate will set your lines and you'll troll for Spanish Mackerel and ribbonfish along the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Depending on the season, you'll target other species. The mate works hard, so a 20% tip is customary.

Captain Jay and his crew are great! This was our first fishing charter. Had us fishing in no time and the fish definitely cooperated as I lost count of how many we caught. 😂 Our family of four had a great time. Super patient with my special needs 12 year old. My 15 year old had a great time too. Bring carbonated beverages in case you feel nauseous like I did. 😂 But they were super helpful as far as handling that. Definitely recommend. Thank you so much for a wonderful day! ❤️

Great experience for the kids

VERIFIED

Captain Jay and Leah were great and although my kids got sea sick, they caught fish and experienced their first ocean fishing trip! The boat was fantastic, and we would go out on the Smoke Show again if we return to Virginia Beach.
