ReelFunFishing is located in Treasure Island. Has several boarding locations and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. Capt. Mike takes you on a kid and family-friendly fishing cruise aboard his well-equipped vessel. The captain specializes in fishing constant-action spots with a great potential of some keepers to take home and eat. No experience is necessary. Your trip can also include an island stop as well with a beach walk to look for shells or enjoy lunch you bring around Fort Desoto State Park and Shell Key Preserve.

Capt. Mahi Mike will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 2 to 6-hour trips, mainly fishing for Snapper, Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, trout, sea bass, key west grunt, with the occasional redfish trout and Flounder, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 23' Pontoon boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with an ice box.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. Bring your own drinks and snacks and the cooler will be provided.

Inshore fishing adventures targeting spots that provide lots of action and potential for a few keepers that I will fillet for you at the end of the trip at no charge. Make it a combo trip with an island-stop beach walk to look for shells or enjoy the lunch you bring. 5 Hour – Fun Fish and Island Hop

This afternoon trip varies as far as departure time depending on what time of year it is. The boat is most comfortable for 2 to 3 people but is capable of taking 4 (preferably not all adults for maximum capacity. We use live bait mostly , shrimp is the standard but sometimes will include fiddler crabs and or baitfish greenbacks or pinfish. Departure time and boarding location is variable depending on conditions and customer requests.

Afternoon Fun Fishing

You'll have constant action as the captain's trips are all designed for kids, families, couples, and friends. Six hours allow you to hit the early bite at one of the captain's best spots and then you have the option to tour around Egmont Key to see the Fort Dade Ruins as well as search for shells and sand dollars at Shell Key Preserve and beautiful Fort Desoto State Park.
