Hooknreel Fishing Charters is located in Cocoa beach and offers to show you a memorable time in the beautiful waters of the Indian and Banana Rivers. Please do not ask to go fishing in the ocean. 


Capt. Ryan will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 2 to 6-hour trips, mainly fishing for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Tarpon, Snook, and Jack Crevalle, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 25' Shearwater boat that can safely take up to 3 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box and a wireless trolling motor.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. Hooknreel Fishing Charters prefers only catch and release trips, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

I am a native of Melbourne, Florida. Growing up fishing was all I wanted to do. My mom first introduced me to fishing when I was 2 years old. I have learned a lot since then. No two days are alike. I have been fishing the Indian and Banana Rivers my whole life, searching for the best areas for snook, tarpon, and redfish. In addition to fishing, I love baseball. I was drafted by the Miami Marlins in 2015 and played 7 years of professional baseball. I took my love of fishing to every city I played baseball.
