Fun In The Sun Charters is based in Marathon, FL. Trips are available year-round and with fishing, sandbar excursions, reef fishing, wrecks, and eco-tours the adventures never stop. Captain Craig has 22 years of experience and he welcomes anglers of all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned angler, there's a spot for you on his boat. All trips are family-friendly as well, so you can bring your whole family along.

You'll be fishing on a 25' Pro Kat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This catamaran was restored in 2022 and features twin 115 HP Yamaha engines. Reaching the maximum speed of 24 knots, this boat will take you to your fishing spot with ease. There are also modern navigational electronics, a live bait tank, tuna tubes, outriggers, and downriggers.

For sandbar excursions, we provide chairs and umbrellas for you to enjoy!

Depending on how long you want to stay on the water and how far off the coast you want to go, choose between 4, 6, and 8-hour trips. You can target Kingfish, Snapper, different types of Grouper and Sharks, Redfish, Mahi Mahi, and Hogfish.  We also offer sandbar and eco excursions for our customers at local sandbars and at our famous Sombrero Lighthouse and Reef.

All fishing equipment, as well as your licenses, are included in the price. You also get to keep the fish that you caught and the crew will clean it for you free of charge. Just pack some food, drinks, and sun protection for the day and you're ready to go.

We partner with 7-Mile Grill which offers "boxed lunches" for our customers for $13.00.

Fun In The Sun Charters has trips suitable for every type of angler as well as sandbar trips, reef trips, real estate viewing tours, eco-tours, and fabulous sunset cruises!

The trip leaves the dock approximately at 7:30 a.m. Please pack a lunch or snacks or we can order a 'box lunch' from 7 Mile Grill for you.

This trip is designed for new saltwater fishermen and kids. Our goal at Fun In The Sun Charters is to get you accommodated with saltwater fishing.  A lot of action chasing an assortment of all different fish. All fishing poles, bait, and instruction are included in the charter. Great family fun for all ages – especially learning in the fabulous blue waters of the Florida Keys and Marathon!

3 Hour Trip – Family Charter (AM)

This trip is designed for new saltwater fishermen and kids. Our goal at Fun In The Sun Charters is to get you accommodated with saltwater fishing. 4 Hour Trip (AM)

Our Captain will take you fishing at Inshore, Offshore, Backcountry, and Nearshore spots.  Your will be targeting Grouper, Redfish, Snapper, Dolphin, Shark, Tarpon, Kingfish, Yellow Tail & Mangrove Snapper.  
All fishing equipment and licensing's are included in the price of the charter. Charter leaves dock approximately 1:30pm

1/2 Day Fishing Charter (afternoon)

A seasonal trips (July & August). Fish with us in the beautiful Keys waters in the evening! You will be targeting Mangrove and Yellowtail in season! Our captain will take you fishing at inshore, offshore, backcountry, and nearshore spots. All fishing equipment and licensing are included in the price of the charter. The boat leaves the dock approximately at 7:30 p.m.

4 Hour Trip – Mangrove

On our 8-hour adventure, our captain will take you fishing at inshore, offshore, backcountry, and nearshore spots. You will be targeting Grouper, Redfish, Snapper, Dolphin, Shark, Tarpon, Kingfish, and Yellowtail and Mangrove Snapper on one of our reefs. All fishing equipment and licensing are included in the price of the charter. The trip leaves the dock approximately at 7:30 a.m. Please bring lunch or snacks for the day trip or we can order a box lunch from 7 Mile Grill for you.
