Your Fishing Charter

Based out of Port Canaveral, Get Down Fishing Charters is perfectly located to get you to some world-class fishing grounds, just 45 minutes out of Orlando. Captain Tim Fletcher and Captain Nicholas Watson promise to use all their knowledge and skills to help you fill the boat. 

Step aboard the “Get Down”, a 32’ Prowler offshore sportfishing vessel and sail away to the fishing trip of a lifetime. A modern vessel, she was restored in 2024 and is powered by a 385 HP Caterpillar Turbo-Diesel engine. She boasts plenty of space for up to 6 anglers, with an enclosed cabin to provide shade and shelter from the elements. Take advantage of the private head and heated freshwater shower, and make yourself at home.

When it comes to fishing, you'll have everything you need for a productive day. Live bait in advance when available - on certain types of trips, a portion of the charter time is devoted to catching live bait to ensure greater success. The boat comes equipped with a GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio to get you to the sweet spots. Climb up to the flybridge for a better view of the fishing grounds, and let the outriggers and downriggers troll for you. Using the latest rods and reels, you're all set to start reeling 'em in. 

Your adventure will take you up to 30+ miles offshore in the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Whether you're looking to try bottom fishing, trolling, or even spearfishing, Get Down Fishing Charters has you covered. Make use of all these techniques, as you target Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Grouper, Snapper, Amberjack, Sailfish, Tuna, Dolphin, Cobia, Wahoo, King Mackerel, and many more, on what promises to be a productive day out.

This trip will take you up to 35 nautical miles offshore targeting species such as King Mackerel, Cobia, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, and bottom species such as Gag Grouper, Amberjack, Red Snapper, Triggerfish, Mangrove Snapper, and Vermilion Snapper. With 9 hours at our disposal, we are able to target just about any and all species available offshore Port Canaveral
