Gregis Charters is located in Tavernier, Florida, and offers guided fly fishing backcountry fishing adventures in the Florida Keys. Captain Joshua Gregis is a Keys local and a United States Marine Corps combat veteran. He is eager to take you to the area’s best spots and make your fishing voyage as fun and enjoyable as possible. Pick your day and don't miss out – Gergis Charters are waiting for you!

Your trip will take place on a 17’ Maverick 17 HPX-V flats boat that can safely take up to 2 anglers. It comes powered by a 115 HP Yamaha engine that can reach speeds of 55 knots. The boat uses GPS technology to navigate the water more efficiently, features an ice-box, and is equipped with a livewell for keeping your bait fresh.

You and the captain will be fishing the flats and backcountry, searching for Speckled Trout, Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Permit, and Bonefish. To attract your prey, you can also use light tackle, trying spinning and popping, or even bowfishing. You can choose if you’ll keep or release the fish you catch.

Capt. Joshua will take care of all the fishing rods, reels, tackle, fly fishing gear, live bait, lures, as well as licenses for all on board. All that’s left for you to bring is your favorite snacks and drinks.

Half Day Trip

A 4 hour trip inshore of islamorada with spinning rods. Great way to watch the sunset and catch some fish and hook into some giant fish over 100 pounds!

Evening Tarpon/shark trip

Spend as much as 8 hours fishing the rich flats or backcountry waters of the Florida Keys and make memories you won't forget in a hurry. You will go after Tarpon, Redfish, Permit, Snook, Bonefish, as well as Speckled Trout, using a range of techniques and all of the captain's top-of-the-range equipment. The trip departs at 7:00 a.m. and all you need to do is bring some drinks and snacks and an appetite to catch fish.
