Fall in love with the Florida Keys fishing scene with Captain Jay Charters. Blessed with a year-round fishing season, the adventure never stops here. Capt. Jay and Capt. Ben are ready to share this excitement with you!

Your adventure takes place on a 30’ Mako that accommodates up to 6 guests. She’s powered by twin 200 HP Suzuki engines which provide a fast and steady ride to your fishing spot. The boat also features modern navigational electronics, safety equipment, a live bait tank, and outriggers. 

With versatile fishing grounds, there are lots of different fish species to go after. From all kinds of Snappers, Sharks, and Groupers to Tarpon and Spanish Mackerel. Reach the offshore spots and go after Mahi Mahi and Barracuda. If you have a specific species you want to target, it’s best to get in touch with the captain, so he can arrange a trip that will maximize your chances. 

Even though there’s a catch limit, it’s more than enough to have an amazing feast after the trip. Your captain will clean your catch free of charge, so you can throw it on the grill as soon as you leave the marina. All rods, reels, lures, and bait are fully included in the price.

The captain also has bottled water on the boat, but feel free to bring other snacks and drinks. Bringing sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses is always recommended. Join Captain Jay Charters and see the Florida Keys from a different perspective.

This trip is all about the kids. The goal is to introduce children to saltwater fishing. You'll stay in calm waters and have lots of action with multiple types of fish.

Tarpon Fishing. We fish the bridges of the Florida Keys for these beautiful acrobatic fish. We use live bait, and it’s one of the most exciting species to target in the Florida Keys. This trip is seasonal.

Great way to catch some dinner and explore the tiny secluded islands in the Keys. And also do some snorkeling. We do not supply snorkel gear.

Fish the famous seven-mile bridge and the shallow waters of the Gulf for big Bull Shark and other Shark species, along with some Snapper for dinner.

4 Hour Trip – Shark & Cuda

We fish the reef and gulf depending on time of year.  Anchoring and bottom fishing for Grouper, African Pompano, Amberjack, Cobia, Permit, Kingfish, Shark Barracuda, and different kinds of Snapper. Your fishing equipment is covered by the captain, so you just need to bring your snacks and sun protection.

4 Hour Trip – Reef / Gulf (PM)
