Great trip!
6 Hour Trip – Offshore on May 4, 20262 adults

Fishing May 4th My Brother-in-law and I booked a 6hr offshore trip with Captain Jay’s Charters and they did not disappoint. From the start, Captain Austin was extremely diligent in putting us on the fish. Even though we had a bit of a slow start, patience ultimately paid off in the form of over 35 fish in total. Mahi, Grouper, yellow tail, Nurse shark, Bonita, Skipjack and a plethora of other species rounded out our day. We did opt to stay out another 2 hours, which was key in our bounty. Captain Austin was extremely easy going and very informative. By far the best experience I’ve had to date! If you’re considering a charter, look no further than Jay’s, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for one incredible day! Until next time, tight lines.🎣 Joe and Craig.

Great day on the water
6 Hour Trip – Inshore/Reef/Bay - 1:30 PM on May 5, 20262 adults

It was a very memorable day on the water and Chris was an awesome dude. He got us fish and we had a great time, even if the fishing was slow. Jason was great as well with his communication when we had to reschedule, would highly recommend and next time, will go through him again. For anyone booking, the six hour trip was great, but will probably do eight next time though.

Awesome Time!
4 Hour Trip – Reef / Gulf (PM) on March 23, 20262 adults2 children

Capt Austin was the man! He put us on multiple species and he was able to target what we asked for from Goliath grouper to fish to fill the table. He even was able to get my teenage daughter involved, who’s not big on fishing, lol. My 14 y/o son and I caught fish we’ve never caught before, which my son loved. We are already booking our next trip to target some tarpon. Can’t wait!!

Captains Jay and Ben run the trips for Captain Jay Charter. Capt. Jay grew up fishing the waters of NJ and fell in love with fishing the first time his Grandfather put a rod in his hands. Before moving to the Florida Keys, he vacationed in the Keys more than a few times, and eventually, the lure of this paradise beckoned him to move there. What better place for him to pursue his career? He loves the offshore and inshore action and the great fishery that it holds. Capt. Jay enlisted the help of Capt. Ben, who grew up freshwater fishing in NJ. For his 18th birthday, Ben and his dad chartered a boat in Canada to catch Northern Pike. This was Capt. Ben's first charter, and after seeing how awesome it was to show off the fishery, Capt. Ben set out to earn his captain's license. He joined the military, where he worked on all types of different vessels, eventually earning his 100-ton captain's license. Ben's last stop with the military was in Key West, FL. After falling in love with the fishery there, he didn't want to leave the Keys. Capt. Ben enjoys every trip out on the water. Whether it's calm or rough out, there's always something to catch!
