Rising Sun Fishing provides an experience to its guests that they will be talking about all year! Whether you are an avid or a first-time angler, Captain Pierre Agena will provide his knowledge and 15+ years of experience in the area to give you the best opportunities to catch fish. Come to Wrightsville Beach and make some memories! Captain Pierre will be sure to show you a great time!

New for 2026- come fish on our 22' Sea Hunt that's got all the bells and whistles for inshore and nearshore fishing. This 22’ boat can carry up to 4 guests (max total weight 900#) and runs on a 200 HP Yamaha engine. For navigation, it uses all the modern GPS, fishfinder, as well as radio technology that will help you reach the fish safely and efficiently. The boat is also equipped with an i-Pilot trolling motor, two Power-Poles, a livewell, and cooler!

There are various quality species you can chase on your trip, some of them being Redfish, Flounder, Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead and more. For catching, you will use live bait, artificial lures, trolling, and jigging on light tackle. You can keep your legal catch and our trips are kid friendly! 

The captain will provide all the quality Penn fishing gear as well as fishing licenses,  so you should only bring your favorite food and drinks.

Our 3/4 day trip will allow you to make farther runs and hit more spots! Target inshore or nearshore species depending on conditions. Target species include redfish, flounder, trout, sheepshead, Spanish and king mackerel

An inshore or nearshore trip that provides a full day of fun! We'll do our best to target various species such as redfish, flounder, trout, Spanish and King mackerel; depending on conditions. The full day is best suited for anglers who are experienced on the water and prepared for a full day of fishing. Recommend ages 13+
