Precision Backcountry Charters focuses on the experience of the real natural Florida and all its amazing species. Ranging from skinny water flats fishing to offshore trolling and reef fishing, Captain Michael Ikemeier would feel blessed to share the experience of this beautiful state with you, so join him in St. Petersburg and have a great day fishing!

The boat you’ll be using is a 23’ Scout bay boat that can sit up to 4 anglers and that uses a 225 HP Yamaha engine. It’s got snorkeling gear, a livewell, uses modern navigation technology, and features a wireless trolling motor and an ice-box.

Not many charters offer you the range of fishing spots as Captain Michael does. From rivers and lakes to inshore and offshore waters to reefs, wrecks, flats, as well as the backcountry, you’ll have a wide choice of spots you can visit. The species offer is also big. You can catch Redfish, Snook, Kingfish, Mangrove Snapper, Hogfish, Tarpon, and many more. Using light and heavy tackle, you can try your hand at bottom and deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, as well as fly fishing. The fish you catch is yours to take home and you’re free to bring your kids on the trip.

From the complete fishing gear to drinks and fishing licenses, Captain Michael takes care of it all and he will even clean and fillet your catch for free. Yours is just to show up on time.

A full day on the inshore waters includes multiple types of fishing, from shallow flats sight fishing to deeper water targeting various fish species!

The Tarpon are starting to show up on the beaches and the passes, all tarpon meaning it's time to grab the opportunity and fight one of the most exciting inshore fish! All trips are full day due to the effort that goes into it and the fuel it takes to get to them. It is a once in a lifetime experience!
