Your Fishing Charter

Join Capt. Rick Austin on the Queen of American lakes - lake George. Austin Charters has decades of fishing experience on this lake and will show you the hottest fishing spots around. Lake fishing is their forte and the captain is a true pro when it comes to catching Lake Trout, Salmon or Bass.

The boat is a wonderful 26' Steiger Craft pilothouse, able to comfortably hold 4 anglers at the same time. It’s powered by a 300 HP Volvo Penta engine, guaranteeing you get to the fishing quickly and not waste any time. A full-head enclosed toilet is available on board, ensuring comfort in almost any situation.

The charter provides customers with excellent equipment from Daiwa and Akuma, allowing you to be 100% focused on the fishing. Brand-new electronic equipment is also in place to track that hot bite, as well as a wireless trolling motor, so you can sneak up on the catch. 

Captain Rick Austin has over 40 years of fishing on this lake and he’s eager to share his tricks and secret fishing spots with the customers. There’s no minimum age for children and you’re welcome to bring them aboard so they can learn the thrill of fishing. Whether it’s bottom fishing, trolling, light tackle or even ice fishing, this charter is ready to cater to its customers.

The fishing on Lake George is best when the sun is still waking up. Captain Rick will take you before the boat traffic starts disrupting the fish. Lake Trout, Bass, and Salmon are all fair game and the captain knows the hottest spots to catch them.
