Your Fishing Charter

If you're here to make the most of off-shore fishing in Port Canaveral, look no further than Flight Risk Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Michael Adkins is prepared to put you on fish. 

Amberjack, Tuna, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Goliath Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Kingfish, Blacktip Shark, Red Snapper, Sailfish, Tarpon, Wahoo, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the season. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!

Your boat for the day is a 29' Center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. Capt. Mike will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself. The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! 

Young ones are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. You can't go wrong when you bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Shark fishing trips are one of the most popular trips and the best “bang for your buck.” With Sharks ranging from 10 inches to 10 feet, you never know what will bite during this near-coast trip. Sometimes we get a big push of bait fish near the beach and buoys. These fish range from Kingfish, Tarpon, Jacks, and more. Inshore wreaks hold lots of different species to try and target. These are great trips for beginners and kids due to the short duration and ability to return to port if needed.
