Northeast Florida is blessed with an absolutely fantastic fishing location: the bountiful Intracoastal Waterway makes for amazing inshore fishing while the Gulf Stream brings pelagic predators from the south. Smack dab in the middle of it is Captain Michael Foster and Big Fin Charters – ready to put you on the hottest bite near or far from the coast.

Capt. Michael invites you onboard his 29’ Parker. Bring 5 of your fishing partners, her center console layout allows for easy movement as you’re chasing the bite. And the bite you will chase, a lot, as Capt. Michael targets a wide range of exciting fish to catch. From the inshore all-stars like the Redfish, Sheepshead, and Blacktip Shark to the offshore beasts like Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, and Barracuda. 

No matter if you’re a group of seasoned anglers looking to hook trophy fish to write home about or a family-friendly day out to get the kids interested in fishing, Big Fin Charters has a trip for you! 

You can fish with live bait on this charter, it’s usually prepared before you arrive (though if you’re a fan of bait fishing the captain will happily accommodate you), always included in the price. You will be provided with high-quality equipment manufactured by Penn and Shimano, so you don’t lose that catch-of-a-lifetime to gear malfunction!

Fishing licenses are included, you just need to bring any snacks and drinks, as well as polarized sunglasses and adequate clothing. Don’t forget to bring a burning desire to do some excellent fishing!

Hit the waters around the productive jetties of Fernandina Beach on this exciting 6-hour trip. You can go after Redfish, Tarpon, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Groupers, and whatever else you hook up! The charter will supply you with the required equipment.

3/4 Day Trip - Jetty(AM)

Departure times can be changed, contact the captain in advance. Get up early and hit the offshore waters of Fernandina Beach. You'll go after kingfish, cobia, trigger fish, and whatever else bites! All required equipment will be supplied by the captain.

3/4 Day Trip - Offshore (AM)

Departure times are flexible. This trip runs in the afternoon only during the summer, when the days are long enough for a proper 6-hour adventure in the afternoon. You'll go after Redfish, Tarpon, Sheepshead, Groupers, Black Drum, Sharks, and whatever else you run into!

3/4 Day Trip - Jetties (PM)

Departure times can be changed, contact the captain in advance. Get out and hit the offshore waters of Fernandina Beach. You'll go after kingfish, cobia, trigger fish, and whatever else bites! All required equipment will be supplied by the captain

3/4 Day Trip - Offshore (PM)

Spend the entire day in the productive offshore waters of Fernandina Beach. You'll head out some 20-30 miles away from the port and hit the less-fished waters of the area. Go after Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Groupers, Barracuda, Kingfish, and other species on this exciting offshore trip.

Full Day Trip - Offshore

Departure times are flexible for this trip. If you're looking for some extreme offshore fishing, this trip is right up your alley. You'll head out up to 50 miles off the coast of Fernandina Beach in search of the hottest bite. You can target Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Groupers, Barracuda, Kingfish, and many other species on this trip.
