Big Fin Charters 

It was mine and my husband's first ocean fishing charter. We had fun catching Spanish mackerel, bluefish, and a great big red fish at the end! I thought it was pretty cool how we got to catch our own bait fish too. The captain was friendly and caring after I got seasick. I'm an avid boater from MN and have spent lots of time on some of our biggest lakes including a fishing charter on lake superior and I've never gotten seasick before, but even the calm ocean waters got to me after a few hours! If you've never been on a ocean fishing charter before I'd recommend taking the captain's advice and taking dramamine prior. You don't want to be seasick and not be able to enjoy eating your fresh catches afterwards like me lol 🥲

The Cpt took us out today when I screwed up the date of my reservation. We caught him as he was done for the day and he still took us out a week earlier then I mistakenly reserved. It was a short trip but he got us on some fish. Nothing we could keep but definitely what we wanted to target. Just too big to keep lol. I got sea sick and he quickly transitioned to a calmer spot. This dudes customer service is top notch and I give him 6 stars for his hospitality. I had my dad with me and it meant the world to me for him to experience this. Thanks Cpt.

Captain Michael was great. (4) Kids 8yrs - 11yrs old + (2) Adults. (3) hour early afternoon fishing charter. We all caught fish, enjoyable conversations with captain, and lasting memories for all. We brought home one spanish mackerel and made a ceviche dinner per Capt’s recommendation. Absolutely a fantasic dinner, watched our adult friend who doesnt eat fish - prep and crush the ceviche! She couldn’t stop eating it. Great memories for our entire crew! Will come back and fish again.

What an incredible family fishing trip! We had a blast out on the water with the kids — the excitement was nonstop as we hooked and reeled in a ton of fish. The captain and crew were outstanding: super knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely friendly. They kept things fun and safe for the whole family while making sure we had the best possible experience. Highly recommend this charter — perfect for creating lasting memories!

We had a great trip, caught 4 King, 3l Cobia. only kept 2 due to 1 being a litle fella, and 1 Baracuda. And 8 more we couldn't get in the boat because some thing bigger in the water wanted them! The water was alittle rough with a storm moving in but they did a good job getting us on the fish. Even cleaned our fish in the rain! Great trip, would definitely fish with them again!

This is our second time going out with Michael and Ty. We started catching tarpon with our first cast and it didnt stop for the first our. My wife caught a they thought was 95 pounds. We had also hooked a big one that was taken by a 12 foot shark befoee we could land it. That was a shocking and amazing experience! We will go back out with them for sure!

Captain Michael was so amazing with our little crew ranging from 10-6! He was extremely patient and very knowledgeable. He took us to several places along the canal and we were instantly on fish within moments. The entire experience was absolutely flawless and we will definitely be back again! Highly recommend Big Fin Charters for all ages and experience levels!

I took my Son in law, son and two grandsons. Michael did a great job keeping lines baited and in the water. We caught 14 nice flounders and a few small bass. Hooked a giant fish of some sort that worked on the drag for at least 5 minutes and broke the line. 3 hour trip home with grandkids asking when we could go back. Thanks Michael.

trip was absolutely amazing. Captain was awesome was able to catch some awesome fish some really big ones that had to be thrown back but still really fun to catch and reeling still filled the boat with keepers so plenty of food to take home for the freezer will definitely look at doing another trip.
