There's a fish with your name on it in Oak Island and Flatfish Charters will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Wayne, which allows you to benefit from years of local experience. 

These waters hold game fish like Black Drum, Spadefish, Redfish, King Mackerel, Weakfish, Cobia, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, and more, depending on conditions. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. 

Trips with Flatfish Charters are fun for all ages, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly! 

Your vessel for the day is a 26' BlackJack center console that can carry up to 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
