Fishing out of Key Largo, Just Ducky Charters is a veteran-owned business just a short ride away from Florida Keys’ amazing coral reefs! This makes it the perfect choice for small groups of friends or families who want to enjoy a fun day fishing in the area’s clear blue waters. Captain Kevin Mitchell is an experienced angler who’ll put you on the fish right from the start.

You will spend your trip aboard a 28’ Grady White center console boat that is powered by twin 300 HP Yamaha engines to take you out to the reefs safely and fast. With a T-Top for shade and plenty of seating on board, the boat holds up to 6 anglers in comfort. It also features a huge, comfortable bow area perfect for catching some Rays if you want a break from fishing. 

Capt. Kevin specializes in fishing the local patch reefs, which is an enjoyable activity for family groups. Half day trips are perfect for those who want to catch fish but don’t want to spend a whole day on the water, and kids and adults alike love the colorful species, consistent action, and tasty catches that patch reef fishing entails. 

You will travel out into the beautiful blue shallow waters, where you will anchor the boat, chum the water, and watch as the fish come out to feed. All this will take place in waters that are anything from 6’ to 30’ deep, where you could be in with a chance of catching a huge range of fish.

Expect to test your skills against fish like Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Grouper, Porgy, Jack, Hogfish, Mackerel, Barracuda, and Shark. With almost non-stop action ahead of you, your trip will be both relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family.

Everything you will need for fishing is included in the price, so all you should bring is sunglasses, suntan lotion, hat, camera, drinks, and any snacks!

Picture yourself floating at the surface with a myriad of sea life just below you! You can see turtles, angelfish, parrot fish, butterfly fish, tangs, wrasses, groupers, and much more. Don't forget about the wide variety of corals, such as brain coral, star coral, sea whips, sea fingers, and sea fans. The soft corals actually sway with the sea motions and add a nice touch to the whole experience. You will see the fish as they actually 'live' in their eco-system! Snorkel Excursion - 2 Hour

We want our customers to see the best that Key Largo has to offer. We stay away from the reefs that the commercial boats take you to. Don't opt for the typical cheap cattle boat trips that take you to shallow, abused, small patch reefs with murky water. We want you to know that there are reefs off Key Largo that rival the best in the world! We offer trips to reefs  that are teeming with sea life, beautiful corals, in crystal clear water. Flexible departure time. THE USE OF FULL FACE MASKS ARE PROHIBITED

Snorkel Excursion - 3 Hour  

Not sure what to do? We offer the unique option to fish for a while and when you have had enough, get in and snorkel the beautiful coral reefs of the Upper Keys. Great for families who may not be as avid a fisherman as Dad. We supply all your gear for both activities. A great way to get the best of both worlds! Please note that every trip has a flexible departure time. While we strongly suggest bringing your own snorkel gear, we do have gear for you to use. The use of full face masks is prohibited.

Fish and Snorkel- 4 hour trip

Mosquito Bank-is located in the upper keys near Key Largo. It is just offshore of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. The Mosquito Bank covers a relatively large area, and includes several sandbars and shallow areas.

Rodriguez Key-is east of Key Largo and is favored by flats guides and birders who explore along the very shallow flats.

The Islamorada Sandbar - is A wide sandbar jutting out into the ocean close to Holiday Isle and Whale Harbor.

Sandbar excursions can be 2, 3 or 4 hour trips.
