Charter Boat Royalty has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Chicago. Having logged many hours, your captain is prepared to put you on fish. 

Species like Lake Trout, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, and more could be biting, depending on the time of year. You can expect to do some trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Trips with Charter Boat Royalty are fun for all ages, so feel free to make a fun day. Remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly! 

Your excursion begins aboard a 39' Pacemaker flybridge that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided.

We work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information available online, or available on the boat you can ask the captain.  It's always wise to bring sunblock sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, please avoid glass bottles.

The 4 hour bass/ panfish fishing the Chicago river trip is not an intense fishing trip. We will travel from Montrose harbor to the Chicago river. From Chicago locks to Franklin St.  Cast baits under all the iconic bridges as the others can eat food and drink wile taking in the great sites of the city. From here we pack up the fishing gear and make our way back to the harbor.  This trip keeps you safe near shore.

Watch the sunrise and get in a couple hours of fishing. Come join us on our private 36' Fly-bridge Sport Fishing Boat. The morning bite is best.  In the spring we will be fishing close to the harbor where 4hr trip works out great. In the summer it is about a 1 hour boat ride to the fishing grounds so with this trip will have limited fishing time, but you have the chance to catch a giant fish.  You will be back to shore at 9am so there is plenty of time left in your day for other activities

4 Hour Earlybird Trolling 5am

This is a 4 hour fishing adventure leaving Montrose harbor at 2pm going till 6pm up to 6 passenger.  Come join us on our private 36' Fly-bridge Sport Fishing Boat. Right now the morning bite is best, But for you afternoon person here is a trip. There is about a 1 hour boat ride to the fishing grounds so with this trip you only get a about 1.5 hours of fishing. You will have the chance to catch a giant fish.  You will be back to shore at 6pm I do suggest a 6 or 8 hour trip to try and fill the cooler.

4 Hour Afternoon Trolling 2pm

This trip offers a chance at catching a nice fish and watching the sunset over chicago. Staying nearshore and fishing the warmer water may not produce a lot of fish, but you get the chance of catching a monster. We will troll Montrose harbor around the Wilson crib to the Carter Harrison crib. We do not guarantee catching fish. We do guarantee a great sunset. Jam some music, and have some food and drinks with your friends. Wendsday and Saturday's you will see fireworks at navy pier in the distance.

Sunset Nearshore Trolling 6:15pm

This is a 4 hour fishing adventure leaving Montrose harbor at 10am going till 2pm up to 6 passenger. The morning bite is best.  In the spring we will be fishing close to the harbor where 4hr trip works out great. In the summer it is about a 1 hour boat ride to the fishing grounds so with this trip will have limited fishing time, but you have the chance to catch a giant fish. 4 Hour Late Morning Trolling 10am

No matter the season, we're always on Lake Michigan for some serious fun. If you are looking to party on a big boat or pack the cooler with fresh Salmon and Trout you have found the place to be. The famous Captain Tim Frey will take you on an adventure of your lifetime.

6 Hour Sunrise Trolling Trip 5am

6 hour Afternoon Trolling 12pm

No matter the season, we're always on Lake Michigan for some serious fun. If you are looking to party on a big boat or pack the cooler with fresh Salmon and Trout you have found the place to be. The famous Captain Tim Frey will take you on an adventure of your lifetime. With an 8 hour trip we can start any time before 10am but need to be back at the dock by 6pm. This may limit your time fishing, but gives flexibility. Just inform your captain what your thoughts are for timing.

8 Hour Sunrise Trolling Trip 5am

5 hour trip leaving the dock at 7 pm going till midnight. We will target king salmon with a selection of glow in the dark equipment. On this 6 passanger trip you can party the night away wile fishing for the fish of a lifetime. The boat is one of the biggest in the Chicago fleet and the cabin and deck is lit up with bright led lights.
