During the 2023 and 2024 charter fishing seasons we received more than 140 "5-star reviews" and the "Anglers Choice Award" here on FishingBooker...and we want you to be our next 5-star review! Capt. Dave and his mate Frank, grew up fishing in OC and they want to share their experience with you!

Nanticoke Outfitters Charter Fishing is always child-friendly, so get them offline and onto the water! Captain Dave has 5 sons of his own, so he's been fishing with kids on a regular basis for the last 20+ years! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, no worries because we have some on board. And you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Your boat for the day is a 26' Custom designed MayCraft center console with space for 6 passengers. We are running a 2024 Suzuki 350hp Outboard Motor with new upholstery, new canvas, and new electronics! You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with bait. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up and fish!

The First Mate (Frank) will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation. Keep in mind that some fish may have size limits or closed seasons. We will help you follow regulations when you fish.

Depending on the trip you select, we will be focused on catching the target species and if they just aren't biting that day or during that particular time of the day, Capt. Dave & Frank will come up with some other ideas in effort to find some fish for you to enjoy hooking into! Sometimes even the best made plans get ruined by things out of our control. We always have a back up plan!

Essentials to bring are sunblock, a hat, drinks, snacks, and sunglasses. Water bottles are included, free of charge, and we have an ice chest filled with ice ready for your food and drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. NO hard liquor, glass bottles, or bananas! 

Nanticoke Outfitters Ocean City Fishing

For this trip, we are combining the back bay trip with near shore fishing. We will  be fishing the shoals just off the beaches of Ocean City and all around the back bay, the bridges, and the jetties at the inlet. Inshore has lots to offer because we have more flexibility with these trips. We can move around and fish the tides as needed, and if it’s too windy, we don’t have to cancel… We will just spend more time in the back bay area. We can accommodate a total of 6 passengers. Great for kids!

The Early Bird - Depending on the time of year, Captain Dave can take you and your party drifting for Flounder, casting for Bluefish, or you can enjoy some casting/live lining for Rockfish (Stripers). We offer these trips 3 
times per day. These are stress-free and fun family trips without having to go out in the Atlantic Ocean! We'll spend our 3 hours together in Assawoman Bay catching fish and enjoying the sunshine. You can bring your adult beverages to store in the Yeti to enjoy while you're fishing!

3 Hr – Assawoman Back Bay (7:00AM)

Depending on the time of year, Captain Dave can take you and your party drifting for Flounder, casting for Bluefish, or you can enjoy some casting/live lining for Rockfish (Stripers). We offer these trips 3 times per day. These are stress-free and fun family trips without having to go out in the Atlantic Ocean! We'll spend our 3 hours together in Assawoman Bay catching fish and enjoying the sunshine. Feel free to bring your own adult beverages to store in the Yeti to enjoy while you're fishing.

3 Hr – Assawoman Back Bay (10:15AM)

3 Hr – Assawoman Back Bay (2:00PM)

Here is your chance to go crabbing on the Back Bays of Ocean City with an experienced fisherman. Captain Dave has grown up crabbing on the Eastern Shore and in OC and is excited to help you learn how to crab. Catch your own delicious meal, and learn our crabbing techniques. This is a family-oriented trip and kid-friendly. Be sure to bring a cooler to bring your crabs home with you. (Limit of 1 bushel)

Morning Crabbing Trip -up to 5 hrs

For the more serious anglers or families that want more time on the water, we offer the 5 hour back bay trip! Depending on the time of year, Captain Dave will take you and your party drifting for Flounder, casting for Bluefish, or you can enjoy some casting/live lining for Rockfish (Stripers).  We'll spend our 5 hours together in Assawoman Bay catching fish, moving with the tide, and enjoying the sunshine. Bring your snacks, breakfast, and adult beverages to store in the Yeti to enjoy while you're fishing

5 Hr – Assawoman Back Bay (7am)

Here is your chance to go crabbing and swimming in the Back Bays of Ocean City with an experienced fisherman. Captain Dave has grown up crabbing on the Eastern Shore and in OC and is excited to help you learn how to crab. Catch your own delicious meal, and learn our crabbing techniques. While we are letting the traps soak, we will do some swimming in the area! This is a family-oriented trip and kid-friendly. Be sure to bring a cooler to bring your crabs home with you. (Limit of 1 bushel). For up to 5 hrs!

Crabbing & Swimming 7am-12p

For the more serious anglers or families that want more time on the water, we offer the 5 hour back bay trip!
