Your Fishing Charter

Drifter Excursions welcomes you to the stunning waters of Hilton Head Island. 

These waters are known for Blacktip, Bonnethead, Bull, Hammerhead, and Lemon Sharks, Whiting, Redfish and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. On the day of your trip, you're likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish caught on these trips will be released. 

You'll be casting lines from a 25' Center console. The Ricochet is a Coast Guard-inspected vessel that is licensed to take up to 12 passengers. On these trips, up to 10 guests are allowed for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter. Capt. Jennifer is happy to have kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! 

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! 

A few items to bring include snacks, drinks, sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The Kid's Fishing Experience is geared to keep kid's entertained while educating them about the saltwater creatures in the waters surrounding Hilton Head. During this trip we will be pulling in a crab trap to see what might be inside including Hermit, Blue Claw, Spider and Stone Crabs. Kids will throw cast nets to try and catch small fish and shrimp. We will also go fishing for small sharks including Bonnethead, Hammerhead, Bull and Blacktip Sharks. Both adults and kids will have a blast!
