Bayflats Fishing Charters is your ticket to the stunning waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay. 

Redfish, Speckled Trout, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Flounder, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, and more could be biting, depending on when you go. During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized for this area. 

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. 

Capt. Justin runs a 25' Sea Pro bay boat with room for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as, live bait. 

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.

A full day of fishing the Choctawhatchee bay. We'll spend 4-hours chasing the morning bite and then catch a lunch at a local waterfront restaraunt. Following a lunch break to fill up and charge our batteries, we'll head out for another 4-hour afternoon fishing excursion. This is a great way to spend the day on the water and see all the bay has to offer.

Everyone who comes to the Destin area needs to take part in the Crab Island experience at least once. Plan on being picked up at a convenient Walton County boat ramp and spending the afternoon swimming, taking in the sun, and, of course, fishing. Fishing equipment is always available, so get ready for a great adventure! There's plenty of room aboard to bring food/drinks, floats, and your favorite playlist. Trip time and length can be customized to suit any group's desire.
