Bayflats Fishing Charters 

I can’t say enough great things about our charter with Justin Johnson. The communication to set up the trip was outstanding. I have been on many charters in the past, and none come even close to this trip. Justin worked hard to find the fish and make sure this trip was a success! In our group, we had varying fishing experience; some were very experienced, and some had never fished. Justin made sure everyone had a great time and is extremely personable made us laugh and taught us a lot about fishing and the area. He has my highest recommendation. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

We had a terrific experience fishing with Justin! A couple days before our trip, Justin reached out to see if we could move from the morning to another afternoon because the mornings had been a bit slower. We had to keep the morning due to our own plans but nonetheless, Justin still had us hooked up! We caught a few redfish early, even had one so big, it bent my hook and got off. Had never seen that! We collectively decided to go out to the bay with the time we had left to spot stalk Jack Crevalle! We caught 5 of these and they are incredible fighters! We had a great time looking for “violence” on the water then would shoot over and throw our line right in the middle! Not an eating fish, but pound for pound, these jacks are a super fun fight and fight above their weight! Which was about 40lbs! Do yourself a favor and book with Captain Justin! You won’t refgret it!

our trip was so fun- we loved riding in the boat, seeing the beautiful lake and marsh wetlands and catching fish. We caught enough red fish to have an awesome grilled fish meal that evening. our guide was fantastic! He was so attentive and helpful- for the girls in our group who weren’t experienced fishers, he cast our rods for us in the perfect spots and he was there to help our experienced fisherman any way they needed- snapped pictures for us with each catch- afterward he cleaned our fish and gave us a wonderful recipe for grilling them- such a fun experience for my whole family- a break from the beach and so nice

I wanted to take my 7 year old son out fishing to catch bigger fish than the bass and crappie back home. Captain Justin was awesome with pre trip communication and coordination. My son, my wife, and I did a 2 hour trip from 5:30-7:30pm. Captain Justin was so patient with my son who had a million questions. The boat and equipment was awesome! We boated 15 fish in 2 hours and kept 4. Captain Justin knew exactly where to go to get us on some fish. I can’t express how awesome the trip was and how much fun my whole family had. We will be making this an annual tradition now!

Justin was very knowledgeable, super kind, and incredibly patient and awesome with our kids. He blended into our family (me, brother-in-law, father-in-law, and 8/10 year old boys) like he was a longtime family friend. We focused on redfish and kept our limit, including one very healthy fish that came in just under the max size limit which was awesome. Also caught a huge black drum, catfish, stingrays, and even a blue crab. Great times! Would recommend. We plan to do it again next spring break!

Justin was on time abd had plenty of shrimp for our in shore trip. Justin was informed on the area and moved us around to find the fish. we got plenty of fish action and several keepers for our group of six. Justin was; Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and great music in the boat. If you want an enjoyable family fishing time with fishing action , book Captain Justin in the Florida panhandle area.

Captain Justin did a fantastic job helping us catch fish on the bay. We caught red fish, black drums, catfish, sting rays and even a blue crab. Justin was so helpful and completley prepared. He did great with our kids (age 14 and 10). We had planned on being out for 2 hours but decided to add more time because we were having too much fun. We will be back!

Took a trip with my 3 sons, son-in-law and grandson. We loved it. Everyone caught fish from 4 to 53. Justin was very knowledgeable and patient. We look forward to our next trip. The boat was in great shape with plenty of room to fish for all 6 of us. It was a short boat ride to start fishing. Charge your phone for plenty of pictures.

My dad and I booked this charter on our short trip to Seagrove Beach and it could not have gone better. Captain Justin knew right where to take us and helped us find the perfect time to fish. This was our second year going out with Captain Justin and it was even better the second time. He knew all the best spots and got the rods baited up for us to rock and roll. We caught 9-10 keeper sized red fish within the first 30 minutes. He is great with kids and knows how to entertain and make a memorable trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
