Spend the day with Code Blue Fishing Charters and find out what the fishing in Fort Walton Beach is all about!

These waters are known for Amberjack, Bonito, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Red Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. 

Children are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly! 

You'll be casting lines from a 31' Cape Horn center console with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself. 

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

This charter is to allow kids only to fish and be educated on the types of fish to catch and how to do it. I will work with them to get them to catch fish and have fun doing so. This is a very rewarding time for me to see the little ones wanting to get into the sport of fishing. (12 and under)

We generally stay within 10-15 miles for these trips

This trip offers a fishing experience offshore in the Gulf of Mexico with time to go further after some bigger fish. This trip allows for more time to fish and enjoy the day while hauling in the big ones! We will target multiple species of fish while on the charter including Red Snapper, Grouper, Mingo, Black Snapper, Mahi Mahi, White Snapper, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Amberjack, Bar Jack, and a many other.
