Take in breathtaking scenery and experience the iconic Vancouver Island coastline as exploring legendary Sooke fishing hot spots from Otter Point, Secretary Island, Trap Shack, and many more!

We are fortunate to have all five Pacific salmon species in our waters throughout the season. On our trips, we commonly target:

-Chinook (King) Salmon
-Coho (Silver) Salmon
-Pink Salmon 

The action doesn’t stop there. With a thriving bottom fishery right on our doorstep, guests can book specialized trips targeting:

-Monster Halibut
-Lingcod
-Rockfish

Crabbing is excellent in our area and we generally pull our crab traps up full of large Dungeness and Red Rock Crab adding to the bounty.

Experience everything the Sooke Salmon fishery has to offer. Spend the day trolling epic landscapes and fighting large Chinook (Kings) and Coho (silvers) Salmon as well as Pinks and Chum when in season. 

Drop in just after first light and fish the tides at legendary Sooke Salmon hotspots from Secretary Island, Beechy Head, Otter Point, Trap Shack, and many more.

Take advantage of the short run (under 10 minutes) from our dock and spend the evening salmon fishing. We'll be fishing for Chinook (kings) and Coho (silvers) among other Salmon species within season. Dropping in at  legendary Sooke fishing hotspots from Secretary Island to Otter Point, with the setting sun in the background. This trip is a must for incredible sunset views alone, not to mention the dusk bite!

Salmon - Dusk Bite (3hrs)

Enjoy the afternoon fishing for Salmon  and exploring legendary Sooke Salmon fishing hotspots. From Otter Point, Sooke Bluffs, Secretary Island, Trap Shack  and more. 

Take in the stunning views, and be ready to grab the rod and hold on, when your Captain yells 'FISH ON!!!!!'

Under a 10-minute cruise from our dock to the fishing grounds, your time will be spent effectively fishing for Salmon.

Salmon - Half Day PM

Enjoy the morning fishing for Chinook (king) Salmon and coho (silvers) Be sure to take in the stunning views on the way to one of the many legendary Sooke Salmon fishing hotspots your captain will introduce you to, all within a short 10 minute cruise from our dock.

Salmon - Half Day AM

Spend the day fishing for Halibut.

This trip pushes off just after sunrise with only a short scenic run along the coast (20-40 minutes) to the inshore halibut fishing grounds. 

We'll capitalize on the opportunity to fish through the tides and keep our bait down all day, ringing the dinner bell for the Halibut bite.

We'll also be dropping our crab traps on the way out, letting them soak full of bait for Dungeoness crab, while we're out fishing.

Halibut - Full Day

Spend the day trolling for Salmon and bottom fishing for giant Lingcod, Halibut, and Rockfish.

This trip pushes off just after sunrise with only a short run to the fishing grounds. We'll capitalize on the first light bite and have the opportunity to fish multiple tides and target multiple species, throughout the day. 

We'll also be dropping our crab traps on the way out, letting them soak full of bait for Dungeoness crab, while we're out fishing.
