Your Fishing Charter

Hampton has a fish with your name on it, so let Chasin’ Wake Charters help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Wayne, which allows you to benefit from years of professional experience.

These waters are known for Bluefish, Cobia, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Spadefish, Tautog, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don’t forget to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 23’ Mako center console with room for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be a cooler on board so you can bring your own drinks and snacks and keep them cool.
