While we do sometimes hand off a rod when we’ve got a fish on, that’s just to make sure our guests get the full experience of reeling in a catch—after all, you’re here to fish, not us! But we’re always happy to adjust to your preferred style of fishing—whether that’s casting and retrieving or another technique—just let us know. Regarding the travel time between spots, our routes are carefully planned to ensure we’re fishing at the right tide conditions, which plays a huge role in finding the best action. We appreciate your suggestion and will definitely keep it in mind while balancing the need to fish at optimal locations. For safety and comfort, we do require guests to remain seated in the front of the boat while we’re moving. This ensures stability and prevents any potential hazards while underway. We know that early morning rides can be brisk, so we always recommend bringing a light jacket to stay warm during those first runs.
