Book your next trip with Whisper Sportfishing and find out what makes the fishing in Herradura so unique. Captain Jorge will be your guide, so you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Amberjack, Barracuda, Jack, Mackerel, Snapper,  and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Whisper also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Young ones are welcome, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board.

Your fishing machine for the day is a 29’ Mako center console that holds up to 4 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.

Whisper is a 29' Mako center console designed for fishing both inshore and offshore. Designed with comfort while fishing and while cruising to the fishing grounds. Captain Jorge is a highly respected Mahi Mahi fishing Captain.

On this combo tour, spend half the day fishing and the other half snorkeling and enjoying the spectacular Playa Fantasia. The tour includes snorkeling equipment for the group, fishing gear and equipment, food, and drinks. This includes a barbecue chicken or ribs with two sides for lunch, fresh fruit, coolers, beer, soda, and water. You'll need to bring sunscreen, a towel, a sunhat, and a swimsuit. Wear light, layered clothing and boat shoes.

In this combination tour, spend half the day fishing and the other half snorkeling and enjoying the beautiful Tortuga Island. Included in this tour is the snorkel gear for the group, fishing gear and tackle, and food and drink. This includes a BBQ chicken with 2 sides for lunch, fresh fruit, snacks, beer, soda, and water.
