Looking to go fishing in Wanchese? Then, Sea Jay Fishing Charters has a trip with your name on it! With Captain Ryan at the helm of his 24' Privateer you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands. 

Enjoy a 4-hour morning or evening trip onboard with all bait and tackle supplied. No need to worry about experience. From beginner to advanced skills we will have a good time. Redfish, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Whiting, Flounder, and more are in the cards if conditions are right. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. 

Your vessel for the day is a 24' Privateer that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, 
reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. 

You can't go wrong when you bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Enjoy an evening trip on the Sea Jay on this 2 hour trip we will be looking for dolphins, cruising the channels, and exploring the layout of the beautiful Outer Banks.

2 hr evening trip

On this trip, we will be fishing around the islands here on the Outer Banks. There will be many different fish species that will be targeted on this trip, including Red drum, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel. Hope to see you soon to enjoy a day on the water with fun and friends. On this trip, we will primarily target Red Drum and bottom fish. Some trolling may be done for Blues and Spanish Mackerel as well, depending on the tides and wind.

Half Day Trip - 11:30 AM

On the 3/4 day trip, we will have more time to explore the open water and have the chance to go farther and search for different species. Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel are the main targeted fish with chances to catch a fish of a lifetime. With the extra time, there will be more chances to see more schools of fish and hopefully get to spend more time on different species to fill our coolers.
