If you’re ready to get hooked on fishing in Norfolk, look no further than Betty Lou Fish Co. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Nathan can tell you all about them.

These waters are known for Cobia, Redfish, Black Drum, Spadefish, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Blacktip Shark, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream.

On these trips sight fishing for Cobia and Red Drum will be the focus.
Alternatively you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Nathan also offers fly fishing.

Trips with Betty Lou Fish Co. are open to the whole family, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to keep ‘em happy!

Capt. Nathan will bring you aboard a 24’ Century center console with space for 5 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It’s always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses (polarized if you have them), bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Betty Lou Fish Co.
