If you're ready to experience fishing in Cabo San Lucas, book a trip with Cabolero. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Angel Jair can tell you all about them. 

Local species include Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, and more. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. 

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed! 

Your trip begins aboard a 32' Motor yacht with space for 6 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
