Top targets include Bluefin Tuna, Flathead, Pink Snapper, Morwong, Gurnard, Nannygai, Gummy Shark, Mako Shark, Gemfish, Blue Grenadier, Ocean Perch, Frost Fish, Ling, Deepsea Cod, Australian Queen Snapper, Striped Trumpeter, Albacore Tuna, Bluethroat Wrasse, and more, depending on the season. For these species, you're likely to troll and drift bottom fish using heavy tackle.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

You'll be casting lines from a 10.5 meter Aluminum Catamaran that can carry up to 10 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. The vessel is surveyed for 2D, 2C and 3C, and is fitted with all the latest safety gear.

Quality Shimano Rods, reels, and Black Magic tackle are ready for you, as well as lures depending on targeted species. Live bait is included (barrel Tuna only).

You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is available online, or you can ask the captain.

It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge (bottled water). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles, (cans only). BBQ lunch is provided, just reach out to learn more.

Board our 10.5m Catamaran LUCKY 8 for a Private 8-hour Bluefin Tuna Charter. Targeting Bluefin Tuna main season running from March to October although we do get them all year round. You will embark on the chase, tracking down schools of school size Bluefin Tuna. We troll for them using quality Shimano rods and reels. Using a range of lures both hard body and skirts. People come from all over to Portland in the hunt for these fish. BBQ and bottled water supplied on the day. All fishing gear supplied also.

8 Hour Trip – Bluefin Tuna

Private 8-hour deep sea charter. 5 to 8 people. Fishing the shelf in up to 700 meters of water you will catch species ranging from Frost Fish, Gemfish, Blue Grenadier, Mako Shark, Trumpeter, Pink Ling, Nannygai, Blue Eyed Trevalla and more. Using shimano electric reels. Clients will take turns as we use only 2 x electric reels to prevent tangles & 2 shark rods. This is a weather permitting charter as we need under 12 knot winds to run otherwise we will drift to fast and wont hold bottom. BBQ inc

8 Hour Trip – Deep Sea

Embark on a private 8 hour mixed fish charter for up to 10. Chances of catching species such as Pink Snapper, Flathead, Morwong, Nannygai, Perch, Gummy Shark, Wrasse, Queen Snapper, School Shark, Gurnard, Flying Gurnard and other species.
Onboard is a toilet/toilet room

A BBQ lunch is supplied (sausage sizzle) Bread, onion and sauces.
Bottled water also supplied.

Clients are to make sure they have a valid Victorian fishing license.
