This time of year we have live bait that we catch for bottom fishing and live bait fishing at the buoys. These are the five hour pelagic charters that take more time to catch the bait and make the 12 mile run to the buoys. Bottom fishing is closer to shore targeting snapper and jacks. This is 2.5 hour tour fishing for nambeta and lizard fish in 80 feet of water just outiside if the harbor. Get on the boat cruise out to the buoy drop a line in catch a few fish see a few turtles or dolphins and head back in . Great tour to just get a sample of the ocean can customize it to stay out longer or get photos or lunch with you and the family. Just message the captain before you book this tour to go over details. Enjoy panoramic views of the North Shore coastline as we troll for fish and catch bait at shark park .  Shark fishing is illegal in Hawaii but catching bait in the area attracts good views of them.  No sharks are targeted we go to the shark area and fish for bait and bottom fish.  Sharks come and check out the boat as well as mahi mahi and tuna. After we catch some bait we head inshore to do some dropping for bottom fish.  This is shark viewing tour and fishing. Other tours offered target specific fish.

Dolphins feed on the bait near the mouth of the harbor .  We visit them early in the morning while catching bait.  Then procede to troll for trevally and tuna. Book this epic fishing tour and watch the sunset. There is only one sunset today, so book a tour & enjoy the beautiful sunset from the bow of the 25ft Safeboat. Fishing + Sunset Cruise

Leave the harbor put out the green light to attract bait.  Catch the bait and send em down to see what bites. Snapper and trigger fish mainly but a good time.  Easy to get sick at night so we stay in the calm areas and fet out get some hook ups and get back before anyone gets sick - hopefully.  Can also leave a little earlier and do half the charter in the light and as the sun sets switch over to the night rigs and deploy the hurt on the fish .  Fun times boat has custom lights. Lets go fishing .

Night Bottom Fishing Adventures!

Troll poppers and flys in 50 feet of water or less for G.T. aka Giant Trevally.  New Charter I am offering for anglers who want to try there luck at throwing poppers and jigging.  We troll small lures to the zones. We will target a few zones close to shore  and work on getting some explosive hook ups and action.  Perfect for summer time.  See you on the dock .

Troll for Trevally+Bottom Fish

Super fun trip trolling the shark buoys for mahi and tuna while watching for humpback whales. Once we spot spouts, we ease in for incredible views—sometimes the whales even come closer! Expect good vibes, amazing whale tales, and epic photo ops. Trolling is the bonus, whales are the show. Perfect close-to-shore adventure.

I enjoy taking the little guys out on the boat. This charter puts a smile on there face as well as letting then catch the biggest fish they ever caught on there own. Get your camera ready for the pic and video. I let them drive the boat they love that as well as educate them on sustainable fishing practices.  Teach them to reel and haul in fish.  The live bait we catch keeps them entertained as well as makes big hook ups.  Great for the next generation of anglers. Adults that are kids at hurt can book too

This charter is for clients who would like to troll half of thr charter and bottom fish the second half. Live bait . And artificial lures work great in hawaiian waters. This tour can be customized to your liking just let me know what works for you and I will make it happen.

Half day trip 5-6 hours depending on water. Charter includes catching bait early and trolling to the fish aggregating devices on the north shore. We want to leave early and get there first. Up to 6 can come but 4 or less is ideal due to bouncy water. Marlin - tuna - wahoo- Mahi all are targeted.  Work with the Captain running the rods and driving the boat when needed. Book this charter and get involved in fishing like your one of the crew. This charter we send it offshore for 100 lb tuna and big fish.

Deluxe V.I.P. Pelagic Troll- #1 -

Leave the harbor troll the 40 fathom ledge close to shore up to Turtle Bay and back. Wahoo-Mahi- Tuna on the ledge.  Closer to shore not to wet or wild but still can produce good hook ups. If my sisters family was coming this is the tour I for them they fish once a  year.  Bring snacks and a camera sit back and enjoy. Captain lets guests operate the rods and reels and drive if you like.  Kids love to drive the boat and get to sit in the Captains chair.  Sometimes we bottom fish on this one also . Lets go.

Wahoo and Mahi trolling the ledge!!

If you can make it early this trip is for you.Leave the harbor put out the big marlin lures and go fishing. Sit back and relax as the Captain will hunt down bird piles and target Fish aggregating devices to make some explosive hook ups on Marlin - Tuna- Wahoo- and Mahi Mahi. Travel to the west side where the water is smooth and clean and known for holding all the different species of Billfish. This charter can also leave at 6 am which the Captain recommends. Book it and lets go.m

We leave at 4 am to 5 am. Straight out to the fish aggregating devices we want to be the first there-early bird gets the fish . Trolling the whole way. Up to 6 people but less is better more room to move around. Marlin and tuna are targeted but Mahi and Wahoo are also caught. After the buoys we proceed to the Kauai pinnacle about 25 miles offshore hunting the 100 lb plus yellow fin tuna known as Ahi which means fire. Fish all morning make the turn and head home with fish in the box. Captains choice.

This charter leaves the North Shore and trolls the 240 ft ledge the whole way to West Side of the island and back .  Targeting mahi - ono - tuna- and Marlin.  The west side has calm water and great views of the coast line.  Sheer water and frigate birds located at the point.  Coming back can be a litte rough rounding the point but the rough water produces hook ups so worth the ride.  Book today and the Captian will get the boat ready and gear ready for a great charter.

North shore to West Side Troll.

Early bird gets the worm. Meet at 4am if can or 5 am.  We head out early to the fish aggregating devices we want to be the first boat there.  We troll - chunk bait and hunt bird piles for yellow fin tuna and marlin.  Lots of action early in the morning so we start early and get blood in the box before most boats get there . Trolling lures with big rods going for big hook ups . We travel to 3 F.A.D. s and then back to the harbor fun time. Pelagic trolling for Marlin- Tuna- Wahoo- and Mahi Mahi . Great trip

Tuna fish aggregating device- #1

This charter is specific to get out early and get on the tuna school early.  Captain brings all the gear ballyhoo and snacks to go after the big tuna. Marlins are frequently caught as well.  All the other shorter charters do not reach this area or start as early. If your serious about catching big fish put ur money on this charter and lets get after some tuna. Lets go .

Target Tuna - 20 miles out- 430 am

Start the day early catching bait and targeting uku and other bottom fish. When conditions are right, expect multiple hookups and epic action. Then we troll back toward the harbor, soaking in the scenery. After lunch, trade rods for waves and surf right off the boat with the Captain—an unforgettable combo of fishing, ocean fun, and adventure.

Enjoy a full day with the captain we head out early for fish. Catch bait and target uku/snapper and other bottom fish.  Usually get multiple hook ups or we troll for tuna and other pelagic fish.  Once we have caught our targeted fish we return to shore about 5 -hours of fishing. Onshore you can relax at the shade canopy the captain provides with chairs and fixings and a grill for the fish.  My cook will prepare and you will enjoy a great picnic on the beach while eating fresh fish.  Custom menu per group.
