Join Captain Matt, a seasoned Haleiwa fisherman, for an unforgettable Pacific adventure targeting Mahi Mahi, Ono, Ahi, and Pacific Blue Marlin. Enjoy stunning coastline views and possible sightings of dolphins, turtles, and seasonal humpback whales.
We provide quality gear, bait, and safety equipment. Please bring sun protection, snacks (no glass), and a camera.
Important Passenger Information:
• No glass items or bananas allowed on board.
• Fish distribution is at the captain’s discretion.
• Snacks/meals must be in safe, non-glass packaging.
Custom charters for beginners to advanced anglers. Five-hour pelagic trips include catching live bait and a 12-mile buoy run; bottom fishing targets snapper and jacks closer to shore. Sunset tours focus on relaxed fishing and views. Longer charters = bigger fish.
Age Policy: Ages 7+ for 5-hr trips; ages 5+ allowed on ≤3-hr tours—please contact the Captain.

Captain Matt is an amazing captain, he definitely knows what he is doing. He is full of knowledge and doesnt mind sharing. We were a party of four(two adults and two kids). We knew it’s fishing and not catching, not a guarantee that we will catch fish.
He did not waste time to get us on the fish. He was very thoughtful/mindful of our 11yo and 9yo. Both of our kids were abled to reel in a mahi mahi each. We saw some dolphins, lots of flying fish and some sharks feeding. We had hooked up with something big, but it got away. At the end of our trip he cleaned and filet our fish, we’re having fish tacos tonight.
Now we have stories to share with friends and family thanks to Captain Matt. This is by far the best fishing charter we’ve been on so far on the islands. We will book him again the next time we return. Thank you so much!

Although, a slow day of fishing, it was an experience my friends and I can’t stop talking about! We saw whales, and hunted flocks of fish! In the choppy waters, we ended up hooking a 30lbs wahoo, what a rush! Captain Matt had us in the full chartering experience teaching us how to drive the boat and take the waves, how to work the rods and handle the fish. Would reccomend, would book again, Thank you!

captain matt was amazing! we came from canada with our kids and wanted something exciting to do and this was perfect. our trip was small and intimate - just our family and captain matt. he was great at answering the kids million questions. everyone caught a couple fish and we saw some whales! we will back at christmas and cant wait to go again!

Night Bottom Fishing Adventures! on December 6, 2025 • 2 adults
Captain Matt and his first mate were absolutely fantastic. They tailored the tour perfectly to our schedule and made the whole experience seamless. We caught plenty of fish but chose to keep only two. Since the action was nonstop, Captain Mike even extended the trip a bit longer so we could keep enjoying ourselves. The outing was short and sweet. He also cleaned and filleted the fish for us, which was a great touch. I’d give them a solid 10/10—highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed with their service.

Couldn’t imagine a better trip for my wife and 10 and 12 year okd kiddos
Kids trip- for the little guys. on October 8, 2025 • 1 adult • 2 children
Captain Matt probided ab amazing trip for our family. We quickly snagged a nice sized Bonito, cruised by a Galapagos Shark thrashing around in a feeding frenzy and then hooked onto the first of FIVE gorgeous Magi Mahi’s.
Captain Matt let the kids take the wheel on a couple trolls and knew where to go and how to make a very memorable experince.
We will definetly be boasting to friends and family about tgis incredible experience and will be booking another trip next time we visit the North Shore.
