Your Fishing Charter

If you're ready to discover fishing in Blue Ridge, look no further than Blue Ridge Troutfitters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Zach is prepared to put you on fish. 

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, Brook Trout, and anything else that bites.

On these trips, you can expect to drift using light tackle. Capt. Zach also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. 

Capt. Zach runs a 16' Drift boat with room for 2 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

Children are welcome, but must be at least 8 years old.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.

All anglers ages 16 and older will need valid GA Fishing Licenses (both general fishing and trout fishing). Clients are responsible for purchasing their own licenses. Licenses can be purchased on the Go Outdoors Georgia website. Printing not required. Just save a screenshot on phones.
