Capt. Andy Austin is a Fly Fishing Specialist! Yet has 15 years of experience in Spinfishing with artifical and live bait if that is your preference.

Local species include Tarpon, Gag Grouper, Redfish, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Amberjack, Cobia, Tripletail, King Mackerel (Kingfish), and more, depending on the time of year. During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Andy also offers Fly Fishing, all possible Fly Setups and Flies will be provided. 

Trips with Andy's Fishing Charters are kid-friendly, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip! 

Capt. Andy operates a 18' Hell's Bay Marquesa Skiff that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures/tackle. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about the species you wish to catch to determine the best strategy.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid glass bottles.

On a Half Day Trip, let me know what your desires are as far as Target Species and Potential Outcomes for the Trip. I do not count Travel Time (By Boat) to our Fishing Destinations so you can expect to Fish a Full Half Day (7am-12pm).

-Trolling/Spinfishing for Grouper, Tarpon, Redfish, Snook, King Mackerel

Half Day Trip (AM)

Beat the heat with an Afternoon Half Day Trip. We will get on the water at 4pm and fish through until Sunset at 8pm. Some species will be easier to target with the increase in water temperature and the influence of Sunset.

Half Day Trip (PM)

This Trip is for Anglers that want to target Large Snook (Over 30 Inches), Redfish, Speckled Sea Trout, or Tarpon on a Fly Rod or using Live Bait. Feel free to contact me to discuss your goals.

Night Time Fly Fishing is one of my specialties. It provides an oppurtunity to catch more fish that are trophy size, especially for Snook.

Night Time Tarpon & Snook

The 3/4 Day trip gives us more time to travel between spots and target a larger variety of species. We can spend the morning targeting Trout/Redfish/Grouper and make a long run to switch our target to Tarpon and Snook. Contact me to discuss the oppurtunities!
