Went out for a fishing trip with my wife and cousin who lives in the area. I have fished saltwater a few times myself including private charter deep sea fishing for Dolphin Tuna. This was the first time doing any saltwater fishing for my wife and cousin. This trip with Andy did not disappoint. We hit our first fishing spot within 5-10 minutes of departing from the boat ramp and it wasn't much more than 5 minutes until we had double hookups. Fish couple catches were grunts, and a very large catfish. Our next double hookup landed us 1 very large sized snapper and a 2nd larger one that we lost at the boat. We spent a couple hours pulling lots of different types of fish out of this spot. We left that spot with at least 3 very healthy sized snapper, the wife had caught 3 nice large catfish in that area and a couple other odds and ends. My cousin managed to catch some xl pinfish with the pitchers which was hilarious. They wouldnt go to waste as we were able to use them as bait at the next spot to try and target some much larger fish. All 3 of us got a shot to use the big pinfish which we had 3 of to try and hook into a grouper. My wife and I had great hits but we're unable to get a good hookup. My cousin managed to get a good hookup but unfortunately the line broke just as the fish was getting near the boat. We had a visit from a dolphin that followed us around for a while which was a nice bonus. We bagged 3 more very large snapper in our 2nd spot 2 of which were the largest Andy has pulled out of the water all year. We moved around to our 3d and final spot which we managed to catch a nice mix of stuff the wife managed to get another catfish except this time it was a nice sized sailfin catfish, we had a ton of ladyfish going after our bait as it dropped and we were able to bag 1 more really nice Snapper. My cousin had 1 more run in with a large grouper which ended up running him down into some object or rocks and wouldnt budge it eventually frayed the line enough to snap it again. We had a great time and it was nice to have action throughout our entire fishing trip. Would absolutely book with him again when we come back down. If you're looking for someone that knows where the fish are hes the guy. Not to mention he specializes in fly fishing for Tarpon, Snook, and red fish.

My brother, father, and I had a great experience with Andy. My brother and father are both amateur anglers, so there was a bit of a learning curve. But Andy was very knowledgeable and professional. We told Andy we’d like to catch some fish we could eat, not picky on species, and if we caught plenty to eat maybe try something new. Andy did that exactly. We caught several keeper snapper and trout, as well as several other species. Once we had plenty of fish to keep, Andy took us to another spot and let us try a different style and target some species we’d never caught. Overall great trip!

I booked a 4-hr flats charter with Capt Andy to hopefully get my 16 yo daughter on her first redfish. Capt Andy was prompt to respond and was also very transparent on impact of high water temps on redfish probability. He recommended switching from AM to a 7-11pm trip to increase chances and open the door for snook he was scouting earlier in the week. We went with his recommendation and were rewarded beyond expectation. Although my daughter was unable to make the trip due to illness, my wife and I had a fantastic time. We caught the following species in 3.5 hrs- gag grouper, trout, yellow jack, sea cat, ladyfish, redfish and snook. His “honeyhole” was on fire- gator trout, fat reds and 32-34” snook. Boat is pristine, Andy called me a few times to discuss the trip and ensure our desires were met to the best of his ability. He was waiting at the ramp for us with a live well full of live bait. Zipped to spots, he gave us helpful tips and assisted with live bait set-up. I’d highly recommend Andy if you have kids as well. He is a young, courteous guy- you’ll be very pleased! We’ll be back for sure!

Great day with Capt Andy. Got us on fish right away and then moved to another hot bit. Started with sone gag grouper while we caught bait fish for later larger grouper. Caught a small tarpon in the process...but the highlight was pulling 14 pound grouper of dock wall.
