If you're going to cast a line in Fort Lauderdale, look no further than Get Reel Sportfishing. Your guide for the day is Captain Colton and/or Captain Hector, which allows you to benefit from years of local experience. 

King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Bonito, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, and more are in the cards if conditions are right. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Get Reel also offers kite fishing. 

Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. We provide water but you're welcome to bring snacks and any beverages you’d like! (No infants children 4+)

Your fishing machine for the day is a 36’ Palmetto center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), drinks, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

DRIFT FISHING SHARED TRIP

Looking for a more budget friendly option but still fun trip this is for you. Based off weather we fish inshore or offshore close to the reef. We don't have a lot of fishing time but just enough to dial in on one style of fishing looking for Jacks, Barracudas, snapper, or a quick trolling session for tunas, and kingfish. Making this trip very beginner friendly where you can learn the basics and enjoy a quick 2 hours on the water!

Our 3-hour Quick Trip is perfect for friends and family looking for an affordable yet rewarding fishing experience. It offers more time on the water than our 2-hour trips, allowing you to cover more ground and try up to two different fishing techniques—without the higher cost of a 4-hour trip. It's the ideal balance of value and variety for beginners and casual anglers alike!

3 hour quick trip/beginner

Looking to get the kids hooked on fishing? Our 3-hour kids’ trip is the perfect introduction to ocean fishing! We head out to the nearby reef where young anglers can expect to catch fun, bite-ready fish like grunts and yellowtail. With live bait available for purchase—or sometimes caught fresh on the reef—there’s plenty of action to keep little hands busy. This trip is designed for kids of all ages (except infants) to learn, explore, and enjoy their first taste of the sea!

Looking for a fun, beginner-friendly fishing trip? Our 4-hour reef trolling adventure is the perfect way to get started offshore! Target mahi, sailfish, kingfish, tuna, snapper & more using Bonita or Ballyhoo. Want to take it up a notch? Live bait is typically available and can be caught or purchased on the way out. In the winter and spring, we offer kite fishing with live bait — a thrilling and effective method for landing trophy fish. Book now and experience the action!

Enjoy the cooler temps, calm waters, and quality snapper fishing after dark!

Night Fishing (4 Hours)

Looking to step up your fishing game? Our 6-hour trip gives you the perfect mix of action and flexibility on the water. With extra time to fish, we can switch tactics if the bite slows — from trolling for mahi, tuna, sailfish, and kingfish to bottom fishing for snapper and grouper. Want to use live bait? It’s typically available and can be caught or purchased on the way out. During the winter and spring, we break out the kites for live bait kite fishing!

3/4 day (6 Hour Trip)

Our 8-hour trip gives you plenty of time to chase a wide variety of fish and switch tactics when needed. In the summer, we can run 20+ miles offshore to target mahi mahi, while also chasing tuna, kingfish, sailfish, snapper, and more. Live bait is typically available which can be purchased or caught on the wat out. During winter/spring, we offer exciting kite fishing for big game action. More time = more fish and more fun! ⚓
