Off Course Charters offers fun and relaxing inshore fishing adventures in the calm waters of the Florida Bay and the Everglades National Park. We target species like Snook, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Triple Tail and Tarpon. Captain Henry can accommodate everyone from the pro angler to the novice who just wants a fun and relaxing time on the water. You can keep your catch however we do not keep any Snook for conservation reasons.

You will be on a 22 foot Wellcraft Bay boat with a 200hp Yamaha engine. The boat is equipped with a GPS, VHF radio, trolling motor, power pole, comfortable seating and all the necessary safety equipment required by the Coast Guard. All the tackle and fishing gear is included as well as your fishing licenses. 

The boat can easily accommodate up to 4 passengers. Backcountry fishing requires a lot of casting, all while standing and balancing yourself on the deck. Having a fairly good balance is important if you want to cast of the deck. For serious anglers who really want to get into skinnier waters I recommend only 1-2 anglers on the boat. That being said, we do welcome families with kids and will do everything possible to make sure everyone has a blast! For safety reasons we do have a weight restriction of max 250 lbs per person and 800 lbs total per group.

Since most of the fishing will be done in the Everglades National Park you will be required to buy a National Park Pass or Everglades Park Pass. They cost $35/group and can be bought online. Active military and veterans can get free passes but they must be bought ahead of time.

We want to make sure everyone stays safe and have a pleasant time while on the boat. Therefore, we have a zero alcohol/drug policy on the boat. Also, no smoking or tobacco products allowed.

It's called the "Perfect Afternoon Trip" because you will be fishing during the time of day when the fish are most active (sunrise and sunset). This private 3 hour afternoon and SUNSET trip is generally more than enough time to catch plenty of fish and by the time the bite starts to slow down, you will be back at the dock. On this trip we typically catch Snook, Speckled Trout, Jack Crevalle, Red Fish and many more! Great for all ages

4 Hour Backcountry Trip (AM)

This half day private afternoon trip is the perfect trip for the more experienced angler who wants to get the most out of this inshore fishing experience. Best for ages 8 and up. After an 8 mile boat ride into the Everglades National Park you will be fishing for Snook, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Jack Crevalle and Red Fish.

4 Hour Backcountry Trip (PM)

The 6 hour private inshore morning trip is a great option because it allows me to take you to you to several of my honey holes and fish for more species of fish. On this trip we visit several fishing spots and we typically target Snook, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Triple Tail, Jack Crevalle and many more! This is the trip of choice for many anglers and the best time is from November to March. Minimum age for this trip is 12 years old.
