Make some memories in Ocean Springs and go fishing with Southern Grace Charters. With Captain Clint at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Flounder, Redfish, Red Snapper, Cobia, and who knows what else! On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. 

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to keep 'em happy! 

You'll be dropping lines from a 25' Glacier Bay catamaran that holds up to 4 passengers. The catamaran design allows you to go out with the big boys in sporty conditions or get as skinny as the bay boats in the backwaters. There's also a cuddy cabin with toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Clint will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We'll head out in the morning with some good live baits and see what the nearshore reefs have to offer. Specks, Reds, Flounder, White Trout, and my personal favorite ground Mullet are the regulars on these reefs. While travelling from spot to spot we're always on the lookout for tripletail as well.

4 hour inshore morning

This will be primarily white trout and ground mullet trip. They may not be the biggest but in my opinion they are the tastiest fish we have.  Tripletail are also an option and I always keep an eye out for them while travelling from one spot to another.

4 hour inshore evening trip

On this trip we're on a mission to make shark fin soup great again! We'll go out and chum the deep channels and passes for these aggressive hard fighting predators!

5 hour shark hunt

Red Snapper trips are seasonal. But when they allow us to go, the Red Snapper trips are a great experience to catch these beautiful, delicious, fish and if we're lucky  have a Cobia pop up as well.
