There's a fish with your name on it in Brethren and Majestic Michigan Charters will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Josh is prepared to put you on fish. Captain Josh studied fly fishing guiding at the Sweetwater Guide School in Montana and graduated in the summer of 2025. 

Around here the fishing is popular for Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, Northern Pike, and more, depending on the time of year.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Josh also offers fly fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.

Your vessel for the day is a 16' Smoker Craft drift boat with room for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include a hat, polarized sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray).

Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Majestic Michigan Charters!

Mousing at night can be very productive for BIG brown trout during the summer months. Your guide is a Sweetwater Guide School graduate and is highly trained and experienced in all aspects of fly fishing. You will have a fantastic time fishing with us! Our winter Steelhead Trips are not for the faint of heart, it's Michigan, the winter months can be brutally cold. We will bring a propane heater and do everything we can to keep you warm but we do not have a heated enclosure for our boat. Dress warm and if you can tolerate the cold we might be able to hook you up with some awesome winter Steelhead! Morning and Evening Trips are available. You will have a great time fishing with us!

Spend a half day fishing for some very hard fighting salmon from our 16 foot drift boat. We offer fly fishing and conventional tackle trips. Guide is a Sweetwater Guide School graduate.
