Reel Busy Sport Fishing is based in Montauk NY. They call Montauk the fishing capital of the world do to the abundance and variety of fish that are in the waters at the eastern tip of Long Island. Montauk is also referred to as the fishing Mecca due to the amount of world record and trophy size fish that have been caught in these waters.  So If you want to make some great catches possible, fishing in style and comfort with an experienced and knowledgeable captain, this is your charter.

You will go out aboard the “Reel Busy”, a 31ft express Sportfishing boat. Powered by twin 350hp  Caterpillar motors  that provide an agile and comfortable cruise aboard The “Reel Busy”.  She is fully rigged with the latest navigational electronics and safety equipment and a large cockpit for you and your family or friends

Fishing the Montauk areas and further out into the Atlantic is a rewarding experience that could result in outstanding catches. The trips are from four to twelve hours on the water. The Halfday adventures are for a quick strike to load up the coolers. Ideal opportunity to catch Striped Bass, Seabass, Scup, Bluefish, Fluke, and Blackfish during the open dates of the season. A full day trip allows for more time on the water which gives you chances for bag limits of multiple species. If you are up to a more serious game fish, a full day trip offshore will see you targeting Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi Mahi, and Sharks. 

Each trip comes with rods and reels by the leading brands, including St. Croix, Diawa, Penn, Shimano, Phenix, Okuma, Whitewater Custom, Lamiglass, Seeker, Accurate, Avet, Owner, Gamagatsu, and Van Stall. The Reel Busy will provide everything that you need for fishing as well as conplimentary water and ice.  At the end of your day the crew will prepare your catch for transport. It is suggested that you bring sun screen, sunglasses, an empty cooler, a bagged lunch or snack, proper footware. It is always best to dress in layers.

On this trip, you will be able to target trophy Bluefin and Yellowfin utilizing live or dead bait, artificial lures for jig and pop, trolling or drift fusing w/light tackle spinning and conventional gear.  Or getting out the trolling gear used for chasing some of the East Coasts Biggest sea monsters.

This trips will see you fishing the waters around Montauk Point.  You will be targeting Striped Bass, Seabass, Fluke, Scup, Bluefish, and Blackfish when each species is in season. Halfday trips are great for families, beginners novices and thise who do not have the time to be on the water for a full day.

Half Day Trip  (Morning)

Spend the afternoon fishing around Montauk Point. This trip will give you the opportunity to target the likes of Seabass, Fluke, Striped Bass, Bluefish, Blackfish, and Scup when in season.

Half Day Trip – Inshore (PM)

These trips are a great way to target trophy striped bass and gator bluefish after work or at the end of a relaxing day. Trips can start as late as 8pm depending on tides and schedule.

Twilight-Bass & Bluefish

Great for spending a little extra time fishing the entire tide and mixing up species. This trip will see black sea bass, striped bass, bluefish, porgy & fluke.

3/4 Day Inshore

You will be fishing around Montauk as well as bottom fishing the wrecks near the shore, trolling for various species and fishing with live, artifical or cut baits. Fishing two sides of the tide provides the most flexible multispecies and trophy oppurtunuties

The Fullday offshore shark trips are great for those seeking an adventure to wrangle with the monsters of the sea that have big teeth. These trips are fun for everyone on the family. Many times trolling for live bait in the morning amd than drift fishing over sone of the hot spots for monster sharks.
