10 Point Charters is located in Gloucester and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. With over 20 years of experience fighting giant Bluefin Tuna out of Gloucester, Capt. Ira Shank will put your group onto fish and land fish. See ya at the dock!

Capt. Ira will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5 to 10-hour trips as well as overnight and custom trips mainly fishing for Haddock, Tuna, and Cod, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, fly fishing, big game fishing, kite fishing, and spinning. As seen on the Wicked Tuna show, Capt. Ira delivers the goods!

Your fishing adventure starts on a 35' Harris boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet and an ice-box.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with snacks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

We will be fishing for jumbo Striped Bass concentrating on migrating cows on the way to Maine. Live bait fishing and trolling are options.

4 Hour – Striped Bass Morning Bite!

This is our second bass trip of the day so u get the information from the morning trip and generally get better results . This trip hives us the option of hitting he shoreline or moving off onto structure !!!! Great for sun and fun on a boat !!!!

4 hour afternoon Striped Bass

This 5-hour inshore trip is great for Bass and early season Haddock! Come aboard and also enjoy a beautiful river cruise and sightseeing. You can also have a great time in the summer watching whales! This trip runs from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

5 Hour Trip – Groundfish

This is a summer season special

September Tuna Special !!!!

Captain Ira provides all the bait and tackle as well as full-service fish cleaning and bagging. You'll enjoy 8-10 hours fishing offshore for giant Cod and slammer Haddock! You and the captain leave the dock at 6:00 a.m. and get back at 4:00 p.m.

10 Hour Trip – Groundfish

The season opens on October 1! The fish is close and chewing. Hookups daily, big Tuna, come help me get it on deck! The price is $1250 for 6 anglers or $300 per angler. Three anglers minimum!

12 Hour Trip – October Giants!

Ten hours of giant fishing in the fertile New England waters from Jeffrey's Ledge to Cape Cod Bay and beyond! You use a fully-equipped boat and depart at 5:00 a.m. The crew has been a highliner in the industry for over 20 years and will make your dreams come true!
