Captain Michael Spradlin is your multi-species fishing guide using multiple techniques, baits, and tackle to put you on the best fishing the area has to offer. He is an Ohio native who grew up on the state’s rivers and lakes and is excited to share his angling passion with you. Igfa world record holder. Pick your day and hop aboard for a fishing trip you won’t soon forget!

You’ll rip the river in a 23’Fishrite jet boat powered by a 400 HP Chevrolet 6.0 LS inboard engine! This custom-made aluminum V-hull boat can fit up to 6 guests and will provide a quick and safe ride to the fishing grounds. The boat is rigged with GPS and fishfinder electronics, livescope/panoptix, a wireless trolling motor, and a livewell.

Riverjet Outfitters specializes in fishing Carp, Smallmouth, Channel and Flathead catfish, Saugeye, and Musky. Captain Michael offers you morning and evening casting trips for Smallmouth, Saugeye, Musky, and more. His daytime Carp extravaganza trip includes catching tons of arm-breaking Carp on light tackle. Catfishing is also possible both during the day and night. Finally, there is the one and only ‘Great Miami River Experience’ – 16 hours of multi-species fun!

Your captain provides all the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, and water on ice. You should bring some food to stay energized during the trip and don’t forget your fishing licenses.

Tooth-a-polooza!! This is a pre-daylight to dark trip in which we spend a half the day jigging for saugeye and the other half casting for muskies!! You must be proficient with a baitcaster for the musky part of the trip.

You and the captain will jet from spot to spot casting baits at those hard-to-get spots for Smallmouth Bass, Saugeye, and other lovely species that decides to eat. This is a full day trip 8+hrs.

Full day Smallmouth Casting

Carp fishing like you've never experienced! Fast-paced, drag-ripping, rod-bending, light tackle carping to the max ripping the river in the captain's jet boat. This trip starts around 9am and last until sunset !

Carp Extravaganza!

You and Captain Michael will rip the river at dusk hitting the evening feed in places most can't access. You'll have a great time casting baits at Smallmouth, Saugeye, and many more interesting species. We start a few hrs before sunset and fish until dark.

Evening Smallmouth

You start off casting for Smallmouth and Saugeye at daylight. When the sun gets high in the sky, you head to the shade and target that river rocket monster Carp. Ending the trip with some more casting at evening-feeding fish or maybe catching a few Catfish. Trips tend to fall over the 8-hour mark, usually lasting 8-10 hours.

Full day – Multi-species

We spend the day casting and trolling for those toothy critters out of my fully equipped jet boat. Using a combination of live bait and artificial lures, we put you in the best position to land that musky you've always wanted! Max 3 people.

Full day Musky Hunt

Saugeye Jigging

We take off a few hrs before sunset and fish through the night. Using a combination of live bait and artificial lures, we put you in the best position to land that musky you've always wanted! Max 2 people.

Night time Musky

You hit the river in the evening and fish into the night using live bait to entice the healthy channel cat population our local waters provide..along with the occasional flathead catfish! Trips start in the evening and usually last 8-10 hours.

Full night Catfishing

This is a night trip targeting monster flathead catfish.

Trophy Catfish night trip

We start out before daylight in the morning chasing smallmouth on the river until midday and then pick up and move to one of our lakes in Southern Ohio to chase musky into dark. This trip usually lasts 12hrs or more. Two different waterways..lakes and river. Priced for 2 anglers.

Smallmouth/Musky Experience

Over 15 hours of ripping the river! You will cast in the morning for Smallmouth and Saugeye. At mid-day, you can chase carp and do some more casting. Evening brings you catfishing as well as more casting! You'll chase everything in the water, going hard from daylight until late at night. A 15 to 16-hour trip!
