There's a fish with your name on it in Lorain and Erie Escape will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Matt knows them forwards and back. 

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Walleye, and who knows what else! On these trips, it’s common to troll using light or heavy tackle. Sometimes, when the bite is really hot, Captain Matt will bust out the light tackle and cast for trophy walleye.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep up those energy levels! 

Your boat for the day is a 26' Century walkaround with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, 

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We will start in shallow early morning to target large walleye and work out to deeper waters as the fish move deeper to find cooler water. I've fished all year and gotten my clients limits every time. I enjoy teaching all ages and have a lot of patients with kids. I'm a coach at heart and love to make lasting memories with new friends.
