Crab Burner Charters offers trips for the entire family, the “kids fishing trios are great for first timers and young kids that want to learn about the bay and some fish and crabs they may catch along the way. 

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks!

Capt. Mason welcomes you aboard a 27’ 271 Coastal Skiff with space for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. All the gear and tackle you need is provided. 

It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish and crabs have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Some essentials to bring are sunglasses and sunblock. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

On a Black Drum trip you can expect to be targeted only black drum this type of fishing isn't always fast and furious but is a absolute blast when you hook into a big one. These black drum are generally in the 15-50 pound range. I recommend the evening trip opposed to the morning. If you inquire with a date in mind I may try ans adjust thr trip time to catch the ideal tide for best fishihg times!

Trot Line Crabbing is a BLAST! On this trip you can expect to be fully involved, scooping blue crabs with a wire net while we move down the trot line. If your lookig for something fun and out of the ordinary for the whole family this is your trip! No experience is expected or needed to have a successful trip! All ages are welcome this can be a little tough for some very young children but is a easy task to help them with the process and stay engaged. If you have any questions please reach out.
