With more than 39 years in the fishing charter business, Chubasco Charters are determined to serve you and your party to the very best of their abilities. Family-owned and operated by Captain Mike Russell and his wife, fishing for the Chubasco team is more than just an occupation - it’s their passion. 

Climb aboard the 48’ Hatteras, capable of holding up to 8 anglers .Bring all of your friends for a fishing trip! She’s powered by twin Detroit engines. Capt. Mike is happy to welcome guests to the flybridge with seating for 4-5.  The spacious cockpit includes a mounted fighting chair and 2 fishing chairs and top of the line fishing tackle.  There is also comfortable seating in the air-conditioned interior salon area. 

Capt. Mike Russell is the captain of Chubasco. With over 40 years of experience, he knows these waters well. Some of the species he’ll commonly target on his trips include Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Barracuda, Snapper, and a variety of other game fish frequenting the area. Each trip includes bottled water and ice, as well as all the appropriate equipment for fishing. Food and other beverages are not included but can be made available on board for a surcharge with advance notice.

The crew provides all gear that may be needed on these trips. Catch cleaning and filleting is available free of charge. Children are welcome aboard as Captain Mike loves teaching young anglers the tricks of the trade. The vessel is disabled accessible and Capt. Mike invites anglers from all walks of life to come aboard and enjoy a fantastic fishing adventure!

If you're itching for a quick fish in the morning, this is the trip for you. Hop aboard and go after Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin, Tuna, Sailfish, and other species on this half-day trip. All required equipment is provided by the captain.

If you're serious about offshore fishing, be serious on this trip. You will target the main stars of offshore sportfishing Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, White and Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and other species. All equipment that is required is provided by the charter operators.
