Live Action Sportfishing 2 invites you to team up with Captain Justin And Captain Ryan Carter to explore some of the best fishing found in the Florida Keys! A decorated sport fisherman, Capt. Ryan has received honors such as “Most Releases,” “Most Tarpon Releases”, and “Guide Achievement” in the Key West Fishing Tournament. He’s got the skill and know-how to get you on the fish and keep you there.

You’ll be fishing from his 24’ Pathfinder bay boat that runs on a single 250 HP Yamaha engine. This fishing machine will get you to the fishing grounds before you know it, as it can reach a top speed of an impressive 40 knots. Outfitted with all the necessary safety gear and a full array of navigation electronics, she’s got everything you need for a productive day out.

Although Tarpon, Permit, and Cobia are his specialty, Captain Ryan has mastered all of the species that inhabit the inshore and backcountry waters of Key West. Live Action Sportfishing 2 encourages anglers of all skill levels and the captain’s true passion lies in sharing his love for fishing with both children and adults.

Capt. Ryan will provide you with all the necessary rods, reels, and terminal tackle for the trip, and will also clean and fillet your catch afterward. He’ll always have some water on the boat, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks. If you want to get a taste of fishing in paradise, come on over!

The only thing better than fishing for Tarpon is doing so while watching the sunset. Key West is one of the main places for going after Tarpon in the spring. Enjoy the view while fishing for Tarpon where they are known to feed. You'll visit the backcountry of Key West in search of the best fishing spots.

This trip involves fishing the backcountry and inshore waters near Key West. You will usually stay within 9 nautical miles of the dock. The average depth of the water is around 12'. Expect to stay within 9 miles of the dock.

A full day trip is the ultimate inshore Key West fishing experience. You'll be fishing in the inshore waters and flats for the likes of Permit, Cobia, Redfish, Sharks, and much more.

The Marquesas is a beautiful uninhabited island group some 20 miles west of Key West. Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, Snapper, Sharks, and Barracuda inhabit the surrounding waters around the island. If you're looking to get away from it all this is the spot!

Increase your odds of success by fishing during the best times of the day to catch Tarpon. This involves two trips in a single day. A half-day sunrise trip generally leaving at 6 AM and a half-day sunset trip leaving at around 5 PM. Times can vary by an hour depending on sunrise and sunset.
