Live Action Sportfishing 2 invites you to team up with Captain Justin And Captain Ryan Carter to explore some of the best fishing found in the Florida Keys! A decorated sport fisherman, Capt. Ryan has received honors such as “Most Releases,” “Most Tarpon Releases”, and “Guide Achievement” in the Key West Fishing Tournament. He’s got the skill and know-how to get you on the fish and keep you there.
You’ll be fishing from his 24’ Pathfinder bay boat that runs on a single 250 HP Yamaha engine. This fishing machine will get you to the fishing grounds before you know it, as it can reach a top speed of an impressive 40 knots. Outfitted with all the necessary safety gear and a full array of navigation electronics, she’s got everything you need for a productive day out.
Although Tarpon, Permit, and Cobia are his specialty, Captain Ryan has mastered all of the species that inhabit the inshore and backcountry waters of Key West. Live Action Sportfishing 2 encourages anglers of all skill levels and the captain’s true passion lies in sharing his love for fishing with both children and adults.
Capt. Ryan will provide you with all the necessary rods, reels, and terminal tackle for the trip, and will also clean and fillet your catch afterward. He’ll always have some water on the boat, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks. If you want to get a taste of fishing in paradise, come on over!

What a day!!!

Captain Justin, was fantastic from the very start. My wife and I have little to no fishing experience, and he guided us every step until we were comfortable. He’s young and we were a little leery at first, but don’t let that fool you. When he took us to the spot, he told us what we where going to catch, and every time we caught exactly what he told us. From snapper to shark, barracuda, grouper, trigger, and more. If the hole was dead we would move to the next. No time was wasted. This was the first time in the keys and our experience with Captain Justin couldn’t have been any better. We will be back, not only for the island adventures, but to go fishing with Captain Justin again. We highly recommend spending time on the water with Live Action Sportfishing 2.

We had an awesome day fishing in the Florida Keys. Captain Justin was super knowledgeable and really made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
We started the morning catching some solid mutton snapper, then things got wild when we hooked into a couple of big lemon sharks. To top it all off, we ended the day with a beautiful tarpon that gave us an unforgettable battle. Just an epic way to finish the trip.
Couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. Highly recommend this guide if you’re looking to get on the fish and have a great time doing it. We’ll definitely be booking again next time we’re down here.

Don't Miss This Opportunity

This was a GREAT trip out of Hurricane Hole Marina in Key West. Capt Justin was great. He had all the equipment (boat, electronics, and tackle) and experience needed to make this an unforgettable trip. We went out early to try to get hooked up on some tarpon. Our first location we saw the tarpon rolling on the surface (awesome sight) but they just weren't hungry, yet. Capt Justin made the call to try another location and get some fish for our dinner that night.
Went to a honey-hole of a location and caught snapper one after another. His drift fishing technique and teaching us how to do it was something we will take with us on other trips. I hope he shares that location with you.
With plenty of eating fish, we decided to try for the tarpon again. This time my son hooked onto his first tarpon. It was a fight we all dream about. Watching him reel with the fish running and jumping out of the water was something out of a Hemmingway novel. We were in Key West after all. Landed the fish, took pictures and have memories for a lifetime!
It was an all around great experience and fishing trip. We will definitely use Live Action Sport Fishing and Capt Justin again when we return. Fish On!

A day prior to setting out, Justin text, asked what we were interested in and prepped the morning trip to accommodate the experience. From Tarpon to sharks and everything in between, we were spoiled with non stop catching action! Great day on the water and the scenery was great too.

Justin is excellent, I hav fished all over the world and he is one of the best, is an awesome Captain and excellent guide by any measure. His passion for the sport and positive energy is a game changer- We caught Tarpon and Permit, and he worked hard to put us on bonefish for a grand slam but us two old guys wanted to go drink rum after an incredible trip and adventure--in addition to his expertise the boat and equipment is top notch--the Marquesas are really a special place--highly recommend
