Live Action Sportfishing 2 invites you to team up with Captain Justin And Captain Ryan Carter to explore some of the best fishing found in the Florida Keys! A decorated sport fisherman, Capt. Ryan has received honors such as 'Most Releases,' 'Most Tarpon Releases', and 'Guide Achievement' in the Key West Fishing Tournament. He's got the skill and know-how to get you on the fish and keep you there.

You'll be fishing from his 24' Pathfinder bay boat that runs on a single 250 HP Yamaha engine. This fishing machine will get you to the fishing grounds before you know it, as it can reach a top speed of an impressive 40 knots. Outfitted with all the necessary safety gear and a full array of navigation electronics, she's got everything you need for a productive day out.

Although Tarpon, Permit, and Cobia are his specialty, Captain Ryan has mastered all of the species that inhabit the inshore and backcountry waters of Key West. Live Action Sportfishing 2 encourages anglers of all skill levels and the captain's true passion lies in sharing his love for fishing with both children and adults.

Capt. Ryan will provide you with all the necessary rods, reels, and terminal tackle for the trip, and will also clean and fillet your catch afterward. He'll always have some water on the boat, but you're more than welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks. If you want to get a taste of fishing in paradise, come on over!

Captain Ryan was awesome!  He made sure we caught tarpons & mutton snappers‼️. Tarpon fishing was in out bucket list to do✅. Captain Ryan position led his boat where a school of tarpons passed, majestic “Silver Kings”, once my husband got one hooked I was able to capture some pictures of them lealing high out of the water, shaking its head to throw the hook💪

Captain Ryan boat is clean with nice expensive rods & reels.  All of his equipment is neatly maintained.  First time w/these Silver Kings & Captain Ryan gave us great instructions to land a fish 🎣🐟. Book him now, you won’t be disappointed 🤩👍

March fishing trip

Half Day Trip - 1:00 PM on March 10, 2026 • 4 adults

We were in Key West for my wife’s birthday. When I asked her what she wanted to do, she chose a fishing trip. When I booked Captain Alex asked what I wanted to fish - I simply replied something big.  Well, he delivered. We were on the water for no more than 30 minutes and we quickly caught a snapper. Moments later the fun started, we had a solid hit so Cheryl grabbed the pole and started a 40 minute fight with tarpon. It was an epic battle. Alex estimated a 120 lb fish. 

 After that we went out and caught a half dozen or more snapper. Alex filleted and we had an excellent feast to end the day. The best part, it was great conversation with Alex. He made the experience perfect. An epic day. These guys are the best.

Ultimate Shark Fishing Experience on June 19, 2026 • 2 adults

this guy did a great job. had a positive attitude easy to talk to. but found all the right spots and we caught many fish 2 bonefish first 2 casts, which i herd was pretty rare. many snappers and simular species. and 3 big sharks 🦈 5 ft and 2, 6ft. 

we had a great time very layed back and very fun! thanks for the trip out Justin. killing it my guy!

Half Day Trip – Tarpon on June 14, 2026 • 2 adults

y husband and i traveled down to Key West hoping to catch a Tarpon. Not only was Captain Ryan able to get us hooked on a Tarpon very quickly, but we reeled in multiple Tarpon and 3 other species as well. Captain Ryan is very knowledgeable about the waters on Key West and every critter that can be found in it. My life had been made after this fishing trip!!

Beautiful Day in Key West!

Full Day Trip on May 6, 2026 • 2 adults

Justin was a pleasant surprise for a young charter captain. Contacted me the night before to plan the charter for the next day. Started out very early and we were in the Tarpon before most boats were in the water! 
Hooked up on a few and landed a nice once thx to Justin! 
Headed out to check a few spots for permit and he put us on a school. we landed two nice ones. Fishing was slow at times but Justin adjusted to target different species when it was needed. Recommend this charter and this Captain!
