Able Fisherman Charters offers a variety of fishing trips out of Panama City, Florida. Join Captain Steve Paul for some of the best fishing around, whether you’re a novice angler or someone with years of experience in the sport.

You’ll be fishing from his 45’ Chris Craft offshore sportfishing boat that runs on twin 475 HP Detroit Diesel engines. The boat features a full range of electronics and safety equipment as well as a private head, an icebox, and a livewell for bait storage.

Capt. Steve offers a selection of fishing techniques for you to choose from when targeting the species of your choice. You’ll have light and heavy tackle, and everything you need to troll, bottom fish, spin, and jig your way to your perfect fishing experience. 

These are some of the richest waters around, so there’s always something you can target. The crew specializes in nearshore and offshore fishing, which means you’ll be fishing for the likes of Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Snapper, Amberjack, and more.

Rods, reels, and terminal tackle all come included in the price of any given trip. All trips are family and child-friendly, with fishing licenses for everyone on board covered. The only thing left for you to do is pack a pair of polarized sunglasses along with some drinks and snacks if you want, and get ready to make some fishing memories.

A quick trolling trip in the morning is one of the best ways to start a day! You'll be targeting species that include King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, and others.

4 Hour Trip (AM)

Our 4hr trip is a budget friendly family fun trip. Great for families that are first timers .  Most  trips are near shore trolling for King and Spanish Mackerel .  We also have the option to bottom fish if needed.

4hr mid-day trip

Afternoon trips are the perfect option if you're the kind of angler who isn't very keen on early-morning trips. You'll be trolling for the likes of Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, and more.

Half Day Trip (PM)

More time spent on the water allows you to go farther and add some bottom fishing into the mix as well. Expect to target species that include Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Snapper, and Amberjack.

3/4 Day Trip (AM)

Whether it's trolling or bottom fishing, this trip is a great idea if you're looking to fish but can't spend the whole day on the water. Expect to target species like Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, Snapper, and more.

This trip is all about fishing for the tasty Red Snapper, and during the high season. Capt. Steve has the equipment and know-how to show you how it's done.

If you're itching to try your hand at going after that Red Snapper bite, as well as hooking other species during the high season, this is the trip for you. Capt. Steve will do his best to help you find and catch some delicious fish.

Full Day – Red Snapper/High Season

This trip involves a full 8 hours out on the water, giving you time to hit a couple of different locations and target a few different species without feeling rushed. These include Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Kingfish, Grouper, and Snapper.

10 Hour–Snapper High Season
