Join Bill Busters Sportfishing Charters for a memorable time in the Gulf of Mexico! With a long history of fishing these waters, you can be sure that your time will be put to good use. All of our USCG captains are very passionate anglers, and they love making their customers happy; specializing in blue water fishing for all species, depending on trip length, depth of the water, and season. Our First Mates helps anglers of all skill levels get big fish on the boat! 

As soon as you step onto the 35’ Bertram offshore sportfishing boat, you’ll notice that it’s very comfortable. It can accommodate up to 6 anglers fishing and there’s a private toilet on board, so you can have a long day on the water without sacrificing comfort.

You’ll head offshore to the deep waters of the gulf and use different techniques depending on the fish you’d like to reel in. You’ll be using a variety of top-notch equipment and, if possible, live bait will be provided before the trip. You’ll need a fishing license, which you can buy at the docks.

There are many species you can target in this area, including Tuna, Wahoo, Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Cobia, and Shark. A cleaning service for your fish is available at the docks, for a fee. Many local restaurants can prepare your catch for a delicious meal.

We support the tradition of giving children the experience of fishing with their parents. Children 5 and older are welcome to board as one of the paying anglers. A cooler with ice is provided for your catch as well as fishing tackle and life jackets. You are welcome to bring food and drinks in your own ice chest as refreshments along with sunscreen and non-skid shoes.

Join in and embark on this offshore adventure full of fishing excitement and beautiful scenery. This special trip offers targeting Black Tip Shark for 4 1/2 hours. It is a seasonal private fishing charter available April 15 - May 15 in 2023, for up to 6 anglers. 4.5 hr Trip – Blacktip Special 2025

6 Hour Private Charter- Spend a day in the Gulf of Mexico and have an offshore fishing adventure! Within the six hours you'll have an opportunity to target possible King Mackerel, legal sharks, Ling, and Mahi-Mahi; depending upon the season and sea/weather conditions The tackle and bait will be provided.

6 Hour Trip

A 10-hour private charter. Spend a full day in the Gulf and have an offshore fishing adventure! Within the ten hours, you will be able to access deeper water in more productive grounds, so you'll have an opportunity to target possible Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Tuna, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi,  Wahoo, and Ling, depending upon the season and sea/weather conditions. The tackle and bait will be provided. A possible fuel surcharge may be added when marine fuel prices rise. Please inquire.

10 Hour Trip

A 12-hour private charter. Get out on the water early in the morning and spend 12 hours fishing in deeper productive grounds of the blue water Gulf of Mexico!  You'll have an opportunity to target different species depending upon the season and sea/weather condition, including Amberjack, Snapper, Wahoo, Mackerel, Tuna, Shark, Mahi and Cobia! The crew will provide all fishing tackle/bait. Note: a possible fuel surcharge may be added when marine fuel prices rise. Please inquire.
