With a long history of fishing these waters, you can be sure that your time will be put to good use. Our USCG Capts. are passionate anglers & enjoy making their customers happy; specializing in blue water fishing for all species, depending on trip length, water-depth/condition, and season. Our First Mates help anglers of all skill levels get big fish on the boat!
As soon as you step onto the 35’ Bertram, you’ll notice that it’s comfortable. It can accommodate up to 6 anglers fishing and there’s a private toilet on board, so you can have a long day on the water without sacrificing comfort.
You’ll head offshore to the deep waters of the gulf and use different techniques depending on the fish you’d like to reel in. You’ll be using a variety of top-notch equipment and, if possible, live bait will be provided before the trip. You’ll need a fishing license, which you can buy at the docks.
There are many species you can target in this area, including Tuna, Wahoo, Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Cobia, and Shark. A cleaning service for your fish is available at the docks, for a fee. Many local restaurants can prepare your catch for a delicious meal.
We support the tradition of giving children the experience of fishing with their parents. Children 5 and older are welcome to board as one of the paying anglers. A cooler with ice is provided for your catch as well as fishing tackle and life jackets. You are welcome to bring food and drinks in your own ice chest as refreshments along with sunscreen and non-skid shoes.

captain cooper and deckhand smiley are the best fishing duo I've ever used! it rained all day in high seas yet we still limited out on snapper and caught a mahi tuna! We hooked but lost a very large sailfish that danced on the water for us before pulling the hook. Great fishing and even better memories for me and my two sons.

The weather certainly wasn't ideal, but the fishing didn't seem to mind! A snapper limit, a mahi, a sailfish show, and hooking a monster ling is a pretty exciting day in the Gulf. This was my 2 son and myself first deep sea fishing trip on a private chartered boat. The trip was for 8 hrs. We limited out on red snapper and only caught one king fish. The captain and fishing crew were great over all as they tried to get us the most fish out of this trip, but unfortunately the fishing was slow and that's part of nature. The booking and trip went very smoothly and I will definitely consider doing it again. My sons and I liked the fact that it was a more personal trip and not having to share our experiences on a large boat with 50-60 people. Maybe next time we will have a bigger harvest. I will definitely recommend it. Thank you again Bill Busters.
Great trip on the Billbuster V! Took my 2 young kids with me and had a blast. Andrew paid special attention to my kids and helped them catch fish and make them feel welcome. We were able to put a limit of big snapper in the boat as well as a huge Kingfish, barracuda, tuna, cobia, and about a dozen mahi. My 9 year old son made it known that his goal for the day was to catch his first shark, and the boys delivered not one, but two big sandbar sharks that made the trip for him! Overall, just a fantastic day on the water!
